What happened to Steel? IDK. Some say he died.

Well i think that Steel was Niju; he just ran away, acted like a wolf, got a posse and did what wolves did (it might also explain why ha was afraid of crossing the river ( or ocean); he hated to get wet.

Whats your opinion?

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Steele was not Niju. However, that is an interesting idea.

I think Steele was shunned by the other dogs, but the humans still accepted him.
Besides, Niju is actually a very different character to Steele...

I would say that he left Nome with the rest of the team, mainly as Star, Nikki and Kaltag were'nt there either (not counting the cameo's) and it would make more sense than some other things.

As for Steele being Niju, no, I don't think so, body-shape, general design, voice, personality, colour, breed, species were all completely different.

(I said species because dogs are Canines and wolves are Lupines. )

Steele and Niju don't look that alike.. nor do they sound similar. But yeah, interesting idea.

I think Steele became an outcast by all the dogs and ran away. Somewhere......

NOTHING happened to steele, universal felt that steele didnt need to be in the sequals, it there disision.......................
