Hmm, that would be a hard one!
I think for me, my "signature" fanfic would have to be "Confession" (and the four fics that followed it, creating "The Confession Saga"). It was one of the first fics that I ever posted, and probably was one of the most controversial ones posted on the site (it focused on a brother-sister relationship, if you wanted to know).
If you haven't read it, PM me for a link to the main story - I've deleted it from the main site due to personal reasons, not because of its controversial topic. But I'm sure most members here have read it by now, actually.

I'm actually known for my controversial fic too called Buried Secrets, which was about Kodi (that got deleted from the site as well, due to issues) But many people have already read it, and most of them liked it, little hated it, and some didn't even understand it XD So I reached my goal. I don't write too many controversial fics anymore, but I should. My next one would be a Balto 2 remake, but I've got a buttload of other things I'd rather write.
Back on subject, my other controversial fic is Three Different Tales, which is about Dingo, Saba, and Dakota (my fan character) and their lives after they were adopted. And my other controversial fic was It Ends Tonight, which was about Kiona and Aleu, and it helped open mroe eyes as to why Kiona hated her sister. But that was so controversial on so many different levels, it too was deleted XD But I think my romance fics, like Cold Paws, Warm Hearts and Love Summer are pretty popular.
All of my fics turned out to be liked, but I only remember one person reading my fanfic The Blare of a Trumpet, which was a short fic about Muk and Luk and how they met Boris and Balto, with a couple of side stories to show a little development of the characters Niki, Kaltag, and Star (Go read it, it's not as boring as you think XD Its actually rather cute, I think).
The fics that MAY surpass my others in the future are probably the ones about Kiona and Achak (mostly the one Draco and I are writing together). Its a big project for us XD

I am most known for my Eight Below Shorts. People seem to love them. I am currently writing part five... and when I say SHORT, I mean it. XD They are rather short. But they seem more effective than my A Wolf's Tail (for now).
I remember when I first posted 'Picking out Maya' (one of my first fics), the original version, it had gone almost to number one fic. It held number two for at least a week or more. People really loved it, I guess. And then my 'Braun... What about Brain?' fic got to like number seven before people lost interest.
But those are my fics that are most likely to get up in the top fics, and people like them the most. When I finish, I plan on putting it all together. ;]

Well, this is a bit hard... I think the one that I got the most praise for was Balto: Who She Is. It tells the story of Aleu across the ocean, before she comes back (she does in my line of stories) It took a LOT of time, because it also explains the undercurrent of religious significance toward Aniu that we were presented with in Wolf Quest. It took about eight months from conception to publication on the site, with only three weeks of that time spent actually writing. I liked it, and it gave me a new plane to work on in my stories, the spiritual one, that gave rise to Shade (pretty much satan or the devil in my timline) and Shade featured prominently in many of my stories after that... this also strengthened Aleu's character, which was good... I'd have to say it's my fav, and the one I recieved the most praise about... I like all my stories... it's hard to choose...

P.S.
Lonewolf, your signature fic for me will always be When You Come Back to Me Again... such a heart wrenching story... I love it more and more everytime I read it.
Oh and, PM me buddy, haven't talked to you in a WHILE!
