Shadow in the Storm

“Wanna say that to me again punk?” asked the amber wolfish looking dog, his ice blue eyes flashing in anger as the gang leader advanced. He snarled and bared white fangs, long canines glinting in the fading light that cast red shadows into the cool alleyway.
“Oh, I’m scared now.” The leader sneered at him, his crocked yellow teeth making the picture all the more menacing. He staggered over the cobble stone alleyway, as he steeped closer dog. “Archek is it not? You need to learn to respect your elders.”
“Whatever,” Archek retorted coldly, as he pressed his back to the mossy store wall, “its nothing that concerns you if I honk off one of your fight thirsty buds for messing with dogs at random.” He jerked his head to a beaten husky that lay on the ground behind him. “Your gang member deserved every hit I gave him.”
“Kid, you have to freaking big of a mouth!” The silver gang leader rushed forward, his face contorted in rage. He lunged for the red, intent to injure but not to kill.
Archek snickered, adults were so predictable. They rushed into decisions that coast them big. He side steeped nimbly, and watched in amusement as the silver hit the wall that had been behind him just seconds before. “If you’re going to attack me, do it to kill, ‘casue let me tell you something,” he stretched his long legs, leaping on to a dumpster lid, “I will win every time you don’t try to.”
“YOU’RE SO ARROGANT!” The silver lunged. “AS THE LEADER OF THIS AREA I WILL BE THE ONE TO TAKE YOU DOWN!” He jumped up to attack Archek, jaws open wide to snap around his neck.
