This is my first attempt a Lion King-styled lion cub. Any critique would be greatly appreciated. Some stuff is bothering me about it, so please, critique is welcomed!

Actually, it looks nothing like Lion King style. I think yours is cuter. But if your goal is to imitate TLK style, then I suppose a shorter muzzle, larger eye and thicker nose would make it look more TLK-ish, though I strongly support one's own original style.

Thanks for your advice! Very helpful. I think I will take your advice and stick to my own style. It's more fun that way :D

Hmm. It's a great pic over all. The only thing that sticks out to me are the shoulders. They seem too skinny. Some big cats, especially lions, have alot of bulk. Other than that I like it ;D

Thanks. I think I can see that now. I will definantly pay attention to that aspect next time I try a lion. Thank you very much!

The other posters have had good ideas, so I don't think this is anything worth mentioning, but just to see your reaction, I will say it. The tail could be a bit bushier, if you're either going for a real-lion look, or for a Lion King look. But I do agree with Rolla_Wolf that you should stick to your own style, it's much more interesting to see something original.

For a first attempt that is indeed totally awesome!!

Only critique would be maybe make the shoulders (as Draco said) and the paws a bit broader/bigger. The legs could be slightly bigger too but not by much at all, other than that it's a wonderful pic.
