Guys! I need everyone's help and fast! My mother told me about her friand who's moving to Hawaii and she can't take her three cats. One is my cat's sister, her name is Pumpkin, and the other's name is Baby. Those two are old enough to be in a shelter comfortabley, but the third is still just a kitten! She's younger than 6 months old, a female persian and she is extremely affectionate!!! I'm serious! I need to find a home for her pronto!! My mom only told me about her this morning and I only have one day of school because it's Friday! Please, help me!

Maybe you could put up posters in your local shops?

Or maybe you could put up flyers on lamp-posts and fences and such?

Is a ood without a picture? Sadly, I don't have a picture of her. I could post descriptions of her on posters around my school.

If you find yourself running out of time to find good homes see if you can ask a friend to "mind" the cats for you until you do. Also, check the internet, a lot of people "rescue cats" temporaily. Also, please try your best to see they go to a no-kill shelter!

I'll see. I just want to find a great home for her and my mom might go there tonight and I'll take her digital camera with me and get some photos. This'll hopefully work out.

Like somebody else said, there are some people who foster cats until they find a home. (My family included, but we foster dogs)

Why don't you ask your mom if you can just keep the kitten until it's old enough to be adopted?

Once again a person who doesn't bear the responsibility for an animal... really - I can't stand it when people get animals, mostly just to have animals, and don't think about their actual "job" and "role" regarding these beings, hence, when they simply ignore what happens once they wouldn't stay at home...

However - if you want to help the cats, it would be the best to take them at your home until you found someone who could offer them a new home.

I can't mind the cats. I already have one cat and she is very aggressive and dominant. I'm not sure we can put other cats in our house. I also have a dog who is somewhat still annoyed with my cat.

Well do you have a seperate room? All you would need is a shoebox with some litter, some food and water and maybe a few blankets for it to sleep on..

Well, I just went with my mom and got some pics of the cats. It turns out that Pumpkin is friendly, but has a wild spirit. Fluffy, the kitten, is a ball of love once you get to know her. Baby is very friendly, but she turns into a devil when Fluffy, the persian, gets near her. I think Baby is really sweet and will be adopted first! I have higher hopes for Pumpkin and Fluffy too. My mom extended dates to next week, I got the weekend. I'm going to find them great homes! I'm sure of it!

Really now... It's probably not like they planned to just up and leave. And if I had to move to Hawaii, I'd rather give my pets away then forcing them to remain in quarintine for the large amount of time they would have to!

If, by chance, you aren't able to find homes for the loveable sounding cats, be sure they go to a no kill shelter. ;] But I'm sure everything will work out. Tons of people love cats. =]
