Hi everyone. Nice to see the Balto fans are still out there, keeping it alive. :D

As a Siberian husky / wolf enthusiast since childhood, I went to see Balto with my father when it opened in theatres. I was 12 at the time, so you can likely figure out how old I am now... is there anyone else on this forum in their early to mid 20's? I kinda feel old. lol Seems there are a lot of teenagers here, which is just wonderful. I'm pleased that Balto is gaining a new generation of fans who may not have been able to see it when it was first released.

(Btw, I was also a HUGE Lion King fan growing up too.)

Glad to have found this site/forum. It's great reminiscing about this film, which I am still a big fan of. Balto is one of my favorite animated movies, period. :)

Early 20's, heh, still young. Im only 16, but the Early 20's don't sound too bad. Finished school by then at least eh? Anyway, yea, you share a common trait that most of the members here have. A passion for the film Balto. The sequals weren't as good as they could have been, but they were still great. I've taken up writing since joining this site. Maybe you'll find something to do that you enjoy to start contributing to the site. :)

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. :D

WhiteWolf - are you asking if I'm a fan of horror?? Actually, not too much really. But I do have a thing for vampires, werewolves and the like.

balto678 - Yes, I just finished school last December (thank god!). I'm graduating in May with a B.S. in psychology. It's been a long trip...

I used to do a -lot- of drawing when I was younger, and many of my drawings involved original canine characters. Haven't drawn in ages, but I dunno, I might think about doing some Balto fanart. I'd be cool to get back into doing that.

I also do write fanfiction, but stick mainly with the Vampire Chronicles (Anne Rice) fandom. I also write some band slash. Never thought about doing Balto fanfic before.. I'm going to have to read some here too. Anyone have recommendations?
