I've never written a Balto fanfiction before, so, after I created my version of Balto's dad, which I've named Raider, I decided to write about who he is, where he was, and how he met Aniu.
The basic summary is this:
After more then 5 years of absence, Balto's father suddenly and unexpectedly returns to Nome. The large and beautiful show dog is intent on seeing his son, which he hasn't seen since he was a baby. The old husky turns to his friend, Boris, but the goose does not want Raider to see his son. Not wanting to take no for an answer, Raider leaves the home of his masters in search of the truth.
In an epic tale of love, tragedy, and acceptance, Balto faces his biggest challenge yet to come; forgiveness. What happened so long ago between Raider and Aniu? How did Balto end up being raised by Boris?
