Lance Mackey won the 35th Iditarod last night! Susan Butcher's ashes were meanwhile being released on the trail.

I found the standings in http://www.iditarod.com/, but I haven't seen anything about Susan Butcher's death.

She died a long time ago. In august. Here is the link:

http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/news/story?id=2795083

i kinda feel bad. She was the first women to win. Now shes gone. May she rest in peace.

Then that explains why such information wasn't on the site. R.I.P. Susan Butcher.

Susan Butcher has a memorial page on http://www.iditarod.com and her husband and oldest daughter took her ashes out on the trail last week and released them there.

Actually Libby Riddles was the first woman to win the Iditarod, Susan Butcher won after her. But congrats Lance :)
