Yeah, I've played it. Kingdom Hearts was better than CoM, but it was still good
Hey Rusty, are you having problems beating Maruxia. I didn't think he was really that hard. Or do you mean Ansem
Im on Maruxia as Sora.
(Maruxia is on a type of machine)
Really. I found that easier than the first fight with Maruxia. Well, first off you don't have to worry about him using sleights. He only used single card attacks. Most of his attacks are aviodable physicaly except one where he covers the whole screen with flowers. Next have a deck strong in physical attacks. I would also have cure spells in the deck for recovery. Last of all you want a good number of 0 level cards to cancel his attacks. I organized my cards in order of physical above level 0, cure spells, and then physical of level 0. My cp was 975, so if yours is higher, then you can experiment a little more.
When fighting Marluxia don't use sleights, as you will only reduce the number of cards you attack with. You can use sleights if you have also used the Riku enemy card, but only for 5 sleights. Otherwise just use plain regular physical attacks.
Attack his syches until they are destroyed. Evade his regular syche (I can't spell) attacks physicaly. When he starts using his other moves you can either doge the attacks or cancel them out using you 0 level cards. I recomend canceling them out
Once you destroy his syches he will then use a dashing attack. Cancel it out with a level 0 card. He then turns his backside to you(This won't happen enless you cancel his attack). Jump on his machine and attack him, even if you can't get a lock on. He will turn around and you should be able to get a lock on. Attack him like mad. He'll be trying to blow you off and blast you off his machine. Doge roll to stay on and evade his attacks. Eventuly you fall off no matter what. He will then use the attacks he did earlier. cancel them out and as soon as you do attack Marluxia. You only have a short window of time to attack after you cancel the attack. When he sends out his petals as he did earlier canel then out as they attack. He will then rasie above you and try to impale you by launching his machine right at you. When he comes down he will cause a small explosion. To avoid getting any damage you can either jump as soon as he comes down or cancel out the attack with a level 0 card. I also found it a good time to heal while he is hovering above and reboot my card deck. He will do this a couple of times. He will then repeat his pattern from the dash attack.
Just use this stratagy and show him who's boss, and enjoy a well deserved ending. But don't turn you system off yet. When you get back to the start screen you can now play reverse/rebirth mode. Have fun.
