Ignoring PMs that point out stolen and clearly copied artwork is like asking people to go f-themselves.
And when you click the report stolen art button it automatically chooses a mod (who usually ends up doing nothing)
There is no excuse anymore as to why 7 stolen art pms (all including a pic refence of the original and copy ) should be ignored.
There is no excuse anymore as to why 4 mods (around that) mods ignore the rules when they are supposed to enforce them.
I really doubt they didn't get any of them.
I really doubt they had no time to take care of even 1 of those.
So then the only reason is because they are doing it because they want to. Saying otherwise is horsecrap.
All of those different mods do the same thing, then that must lead me to belive that they have talked to each other about it. ( by now I'm 100% sure they have)
Now then it's a conpiracy-also known as a group of people ganging up on other ones doing what they want instead of what they should.
Also anytime I make a comment which kindly points out drawings that shouldn't be there, they get deleted. Apparantly this people don't understand until you gets "bad" now I only make remarks strong when they have already been deleted, and/or when I know they are needed.

You are supposed to help stop art theft, instead you do something only if you feel like it, and if you like the person reporting it.
You could care less about this being a kid friendly saite you just use that against others so that according to you; you may win a debate, and a new handful of suck ups, you make me wanna stick a knife just dipped in boiling oil on your eyes real slow.
The way I see it, you're not mods to help at all, just to get the least control over comments, pms, etc, so that you can have more suck ups because you're a ball-less looser who needs friends to be in a debate.
A ball-less looser who needs to manipulate the little control they've got so you may keep your little gang going on.
And for what? to have a better social rank, Why? because they need to know they are better than others to feel good about themselves.

I know each and everyone of you, and you know who you are and that goes for you.


EXPERIMENT

I'll Pm a mod about stolen art and post the page and what I wrote here, then see what they do, then post the results.
If nothing happens I will PM the ARTIST instead, I'm sure they don't like their art stolen anf oh yes they don't like lazy mods doing nothing when they can, and when it's espeacially pointed out real clear on the pm, just layed out for them to do something.
If something happens then it will point out my point of them being cowards who just want to look good infront of the crowd, why? because they didn't do anything before when NO ONE was watching, now let's see how they react when someone is watching, let's observe.



If for any reason this drawing doesn't conbince you, I have MANY others in fact I'll do another one that has stolen line art, 100% traced so it's clear-er.

Finally, as most of you may know I never point fingers since I am too kind, but when it's a case like this trust me it's needed.

If you don't want me to point out fingers (and only complain if it's your name in there) then do either of this : Stop stealing art or Stop being a corrupt *******.


Finally another issue that is also ignore people send drawings that are against the rules (and no, I'm not saying like porn or exessive violence) just drawings that DO NOT follow the rules, like sending the same drawing twice, and sending humans that are not from Balto (an I mean just a drawing of a human alone) and art with sexual reference >.>
You'll see more of the point when you see that the artist post both of this pics.

Are some sending art rules not important enough to be able to be completely ignored?

I don't know about you honest people out there, I don't know if this has happened to you but it has happened to me enough and anyone who has had this happens knows what I'm talking about.

Those pics may have the same character positions, but I don't think they stole that from from Pample. It's kind of like in the automotive or clothing trade. If someone designs something that's selling good, another company is going to come along and loosely replicate it.

And if that pic is a sexual innuendo, then I don't want to know what the scene in Balto with Steele and the rope of hot dogs is...And on big weinies, I'd rather have a Brautworst then some tiny little Oscar Meyer weiner to tell you the truth...I can see where the picture can be mis-interpreted, I don't think that was the artist's intention.

Anyway...I have to agree with Alpine on both accounts. While the two poses are similar, they aren't close enough to where I think it would be called theft...it's just a picture where the character is standing facing the viewer and looking at another character (plus you can see more of the character's side and back legs than in the Pample pic). As for the Steel picture, I think that one depends on how you look at it...it could be a sexual reference if you are more prone to seeing "hidden" messages like that, or you could see a picture of Steel in reference to how he was eating sausages in the boiler room scene. But that's just my opinion.

Talking about moderators not reponding, I've had an experience where I PMed one mod who said that they didn't think a picture looked like it was "eyeballed" from another artist's, so I took it to another mod who agreed the picture was too close to the other artist's and removed it (mind you this picture was very obviously ref'd/traced, as you could take the two images in Photoshop and do an overlay to match them up in certain areas). So if you think that one mod is not doing their job correctly, get in touch with another, or even Steet, if you think there is a theft that needs to be taken care of.

I think Kahvie pretty much said it all. Like I said, I don't think that "report" clickable works half the time, so PM a mod personally. Like me, I'm all about preventing art theft here This site is full of glitches, so if you can't EXPECT that, then I suggest thinking before you go accusing that the mods aren't doing their jobs (AGAIN!!).

The first example you showed is changed enough to not be considered a copy (tho a citation still would be nice, but even if they did give it, its not worth pulling hair over) The second one is copied in some spots, but is again changed. (Poses may not be copyrighted, but pictures are.)

And as for the pictures *I* had, they only have dirty things in them if you THINK about it I mean, honestly, if you're anyone over the age of 3, you're going to find "weenies" funny, whether or not it has any innuendos in it. They're only there if you want them to be and that was not my intention. I found them just as innocent as the sausage scene in Balto 1 and they are.

And the "Big Weenies Are Better" thing, it was an actual advertisement on my television, which was on a channel exposed to all. Its only dirty if you think it is. But seriously, what kind of dog wouldn't want a huge sausage to eat? Cuz its obvious thats what Steele likes. What I don't get is that you think that just because I'm older, I have to automatically make a joke that has some kind of innuendo. And if you think those pictures are "too dirty" for this site, then maybe you need to start thinking with your brain and not your sexual organs.

Who says art has to be traced for it to be copied? It doesn't. You can simply look at something and transfer it with your mind to the paper.

They look very much alike, they both are two door, both have stretch cabs and both are the same species of vehicle. They are different enough though, that you're not gonna run out and openly accuse people of stealing designs, cause if we did that to everything, there wouldn't be any variety in anything...Some people like the image outline, but want to make their own thing from it.

That's really how I see it...plus, it's not like they're making any money, right?

Also cat, poses may not be copyrighted but you don't seem so enthusiastic about pose copyright when it comes to your art.

Alpine, I clearly see your point but it's different because they are bigger conpanies, pluss we don't know how the car looks in the motor but for all I know they could sue them, I don't know it's just my point of view the animals look awfally similar.
I really agree with that concept but when a drawing is 85% traced/copied it's counted as stolen, right?

It's actually not any different except in the fact that if they feel it's duplicating a copyrighted design too closely, they can hire a lawyer to send the other party a cease and desist letter. In this case, the moderators are the lawyers. While the characters look the same, have you ever been to a dog park, and seen one person with a Husky, then see a different person with a similar husky? In real life, most animals in a single breed (like Siberian Hukies or German Shepherds) look almost exactly alike...

And under the hood of those two vehicles are actually extremely close. They are both 1991 models, which the S10 had a 2.5 L4, a 3.8 V6 and a 4.3 V6, and the Ranger has a 2.3 L4 (what my truck has), a 3.0 V6 and a 4.0 V6. Yeah, I'm a car nerd when it comes to technical stuff like that. XD And to think, I pretty much despise S10s, after I test drove one.

I've ignore it, and I've talk to Steet about it, because it was the BEST THING TO DO.

About the other one I don't know, I just had one pm. Don't say that we don't do our job, please. Beeing a mod is hard, because we have many responsabilities, and if something goeas wrong, it will always be our mistake.
