EDIT: according to the memberlist, there's about 1057 out of 4141 people (about 1/4) (of course, the number will obviously change in the future, but right now it's 1057) on here who have at least posted on the forums twice, though there's an even smaller amount of active people on here.
yeah but isnt that annoying?

But, I recall Steet saying that they don't take up too much space so they don't matter much.

It's not that they are planning on signing up for nothing. People just tend to get bored with the site, never come on again and forget about the whole thing.

The forum account is also the site account. They can very well register on the site and so own a forum account that they won't use, because they will only post on the site. Or, they may have registered because they wanted to send content on the site (fanart, fanfics...), but didn't post on the forums.

i noticed that as well. once when i was REALLY BORED i clicked on member list and saw more than 10 pages with users that have 0 posts.

that's easy. They register and don't bother to post because (aside from being total noobs) for some, this site is the king.
