As with many wild animals if we leave them alone, they'll leave us alone. The only reason they'd have for attacking someone would be if they were sick or very hungry. But I'm not affraid of being near a wolf. It would be amazing.
I saw one at the zoo before

Maybe in that story of Romulus and Remus or whatever their names were but I doubt in reality.
I'm not afraid of wolves. I see no reason to fear such magnifecent creatures. However, approaching a wild wolf and trying to pet it would just be foolish. Wolves are scared of humans unless brought up with them. They're dangerous - they are wild animals. However, they'd be more likely to run away from you than attack you if you met one in the wild. As for coming up for a tickle on the belly, I think that's confusion between a husky and a wolf.

That's right. Any animal, mostly canines, can smell your fear and they'll sometimes take advantage of it. I wouldn't be afraid of a wolf at all! Living on the east coast and all, you only see coyotes in Maine where my grandparents live. When I have my own house, I plan on having at least one pure wolf and then hybrids!

I wouldn't be afriad to stand infront of a wolf. They aren't known to atack little kids. I'm 11. Wolves are known to take pitty on young humans and tend to take care of them. I would be so exited if i did see one though!

I'm not afraid of wolves. And it is true, they will adopt young children. How many of you have read Surviving with Wolves! It's a true story, and a remarkable one at that.

Well, partly true. There are still many people who stereo-type them as beasts that will eat you.
