Phil Weinstein (director of Balto 2, if you didn't know) sent me this :
His message :
Quote: This was a video box design I created fro Balto II, and pitched to the marketing department. They ended up doing their own design so I just used it for my Director's reel for a time, before the advent of DVD's.
I found it over the weekend and thought you'd be interested in seeing it. Phil
I like the fact that this cover includes artworks we've never seen before!
And, is it Niju or Steele on the back cover?

Oh, its definately Niju XD Steele didn't have such a huge chin and aged appearance. But I like this cover better than the other one, actually. It's more "correct" and more suitable to the movie's plot, with all the inuit stuff and style and whatnot.

Wow, that looks fantastic! The artwork's great, and the wording on the back is very detailed. The only problem I see is that the puppy Aleu on the cover has light brown ears (and... brown eyes?) - but it's still amazing.

I agree.
It's certainly a more exciting and appealing cover.
