If this is the book I'm thinking of, no, I have not read it yet. But it is one that I want to read as it does sound very cool.

It would help if you told us what the book is about. Like who is the author and what's the story?

It's more or less a Beauty and the Beast kind of theme, but it has a remarkable twist. THe author is Edith Pattou.

I've read this book and I enjoyed it very much, especially since I am familiar with the legend that it's based on. I would definitely recommend it to fantasy/folklore fans^^
