Okay, I need a little help, and I didn't know where to post this so I'm putting it her.
My fiancee's mother has Cancer, and it's really bothering us both, and causing me a lot of stress worrying about if I hug her too tightly she'll break like thin glass.
I don't know, and if anyone has any ideas on how we can cope with this and still be worried about her, please share.

Well, I think you should talk about it let out all your emotions! My Grandma, Uncle, Aunt... Died of cancer. And now one of my best friends has Liver Disease, He's only 19... they say they don't expect him to live past 23-24. When we found out.... all I remember is us both crying, but now we just live life, In a way it means more to him. He's not so afraid to take chances, But he still has fun. He still goes to parties and all that jazz. You still need to let your emotions out though... have serious talks that make you cry, but also have fun, they want to have fun while their still here. Hope this helps.... sorry if it makes it worse. This is what helped me.

Keep your hopes high, pray alot, do as much as you can to support him and encourage him through out this tough time. Hopefully with chemotherpay and treatment his mother will pull through and all will be well. The best think you can do is be supportive and pray.

Just think about the good things. When my uncle Joe had cancer he got cured just think about if she gets cured ^_^ Just try to spend more time with her incase she dies atleast you could make her feel better so she dosn't die(if she dies)a bad death.
My teacher's best friend dyed of cancer two weeks ago.I didn't know her but it made me cry and it made some of my friends cry because we had prayed or her to live every night but our teacher said when she dyed she looked so peaceful.

Thanks everyone, I'm glad to know that people can actually help us.
Again, thank you. I'll relay this to James (my fiancee) as soon as I see him next! ^__^
*hugs for all!*

Thanks. Now that's (two) people [that I know of] that actually care for people and ACT like people on the site.
Most everyone else says things like "Shut up and stop complaining! It's life, get over it!!" and things along those lines (at least, a lot of people on the internet do).

No offense to YOU, but most of the people here have experienced some form of close friend or family member with cancer.
I think it IS acceptable because it doesn't contain any adultery, so please. If a moderator didn't think this was acceptable, they would have locked it by now...

My Grandmother has Cancer. I'm not being hit too hard by it I hate to say. She lives on the other side of the country. My advice, take it easy, try not to think about it too much, and pray. A lot.
Hope it helps and sorry about her.
