Did Balto know Jenna before the movie starts?

I was under the impression that Balto had known Jenna before he saw her in the beginning of the movie. But the wikipedia article tells us it's love at first sight during the opening *cartoon* scene of the movie. Implying that he'd never seen her before.

If you really think about it, it changes a lot in their relationship if you're extrapolating to before and after the movies ended.

What do you think?

I think that he just watched her from afar all of his life. He never really knew her.

He probably knew her a little, but never approached her before. Otherwise he wouldn't have had this reaction when he gave back Rosy's hat...

I agree with you entirely. If he didn't know her, then howcome he knew her name; and she knew his? XD I think he's admired her from a distance, but she's never had any interest in him. Until the movie, that is :lol: ^-^
