I'm still shocked nobody would've notice the mail pileing up. "We never thought to check on him." What happened to nosy neighbors?

I head about that yesterday. Hard to belive no one checked on him, it's sad if you ask me. From what my cousin,s have told me living on the east end of Long Island most of there neighbor's are Rich family's that don't bother with anyone.

I saw this on the news, well.. not really 'cause my sister changed the channel but I saw a small preview of it.. That's really sad & weird.. I'm surprised nobody noticed sooner, I hope he had some friends..

He died alone and had to wait more than 365 days to be discovered, why didn't anyone notice anything, that sure is strange...

Not only that... apparently he was "watching" TV, while he was blind?

In the picture that it showed on the news (very disturbing right before bed XD) he was watching a really large TV, my neighbor is 'blind' but she can still see shadows & can watch TV, but she has to do it on a big screen TV.

If he was fully blind..then maybe he was just listening to the TV.

Wow. That's almost unreal. I think it would be pretty hard for someone to disappear for an entire year and no one noticed he was gone...it's strange. You'd think that it would have been noticed after the first week or so.

hmm well. the tv couldent be on the entire time it would ether burn out of the electricity would be shut off. the cable to. but a whole year seems kinda weird..
