summary:Balto has a son named; Kori. Kori and Balto have become really close buddies until one day, Balto got killed right infront of his dad!What will the poor kori do without his father at the age of eight weeks old?

Prologue: What a surprise!

Jenna and Balto already had their first litter of puppies until they both have missed the moment of making love, so they both agree to do it again. The night now turns to day as Balto heads back to his boat (trying not to wake his beloved wife (that's a reddish siberian husky) up. It has been eight months sincs then. Since they have proven how much they love each other...when all of a sudden it happened!

Chapter one: Koriyu

After it has been eight months of pregnancy, Jenna now has her second litter of puppies! But this time, only one that looks more wolf than the rest is a boy pup that looks like Balto. Jenna had six puppies again! There are four boys and two girls! The boys look kind of like Jenna with different markings.

Balto and Jenna decided to name thier puppies!Thier names are; Koriyu, Junita, Rose, Kenji, Jake, and Kobi. IT is now been eight weeks since Balto and Jenna had more puppies as they agreed to sell them like they did before. Jenna's owner (Rosie) who is now fourteen, is selling the puppies all by herself. She kept them in a wooden box, as she tapes the sign onto the box. It wasnt long before the little kids from Nome come running towards the box with puppies for free to a good home!

Jenna starts crying as her husband comforts her as most of the pups where already taken. They now have two left in the box. Koriyu and Junita. A little girl with her dad came up and took her as she the puppy how cute she is! But Koriyu is the only one left in the box as Balto kinda has a bad feeling about this.

"Do you think that Koriyu will ever get adopted?" Balto asks his wife as she replies "Oh Im sure, he cant be like Aleu...could he?" Jenna asked as Balto nuzzles her as they waited until the sun was about to set. "It's gettting late Jenna...Shall we go home?" Balto asks as he looks down at his sleeping son (a male version of Aleu). "But we cant, we gotta keep trying."Jenna protested as Balto didnt argue.

Chapter two:Knowing the truth

Time passed as Koriyu is one month older than he was. He is the only pup that doesnt have a home. Koriyu looks exactly like Aleu but in a male verson. He has orange eyes like his dads, with markings like his mom. Boris is no longer with Balto since he had met Stella, but the polar bear cubs on the other hand are with him. Balto has been spending sometime with Koriyu, trying to teach him how to survive in a wild until he asked a question one day to his father.

"Hey dad?" Why am I not taken like my sisters and brothers?"He asked as Balto gets a feeling of shame again like he felt with Aleu. "uh, well..come with me." Balto tells his son as Kori fallows him to his boat. As they walked to his old, recky boat on the shoreline near the frozen Ocean, Koriyu stopped as soon as his father did.

"Why are we hear, dad?" He asked feeling unsure what's going on. "Listen to me, son."Balto orders as Kori's ears pirk up to hear what he has to say. "AAARRRROOOUUUGGGHHH!" Balto howls as he waits a minute to hear his wolf pals to answer back. Sure enough, they did howl back. "What was that for?"Kori asked as he got confused. "That my son is called a 'howl'. That's what us wolves do." Balto explains as he still wanders why he doesn't live in a nice, warm house like his siblings do.

"What's this supposed to prove? Why dont the humans take me for their pet?" Koir asked as he jumps up and down with a racing mind filled with questions. "Hey son, why dont you howl and find out?" Balto asks as Koriyu looks into his dad's eyes, then to the big hill, a hundred feet away from him. "Why?" Koir asked as Balto was getting inpaitent. "Just do it, okay?" He kind of snapped to get his attention as Koriyu lifts up his head and howls towards the sky.

After his howling, Koriyu's ears pirked back up to hear more howling. "I-I-I did it PAPA!" Kori says as he prances around his father as he stops him. "Look Kori, the reason why humans don't want you is because____."Balto says as he gulps nervously. "________Is because you're part wolf."
