I doubt it. There hasn't really been anything said about it coming to America (and anyway if they did they should start with Ginga Nagraboshi Gin). However, if they did I would bet they would numb it down incredibly and ruin it.

Because
1) They would edit out all the blood and violence, thus making it "kid friendly" (they've done it for the Sweedish dubs of GNG)
2) They would pick crappy voice actors (like the ones from Naruto and One Piece)
Though it would be real nice to see an uncut english version with good voice actors, I highly doubt that would happen.

I also just noticed something. This is in the wrong section, it's supposed to be in the animated cartoon show section.

Yeah I think it would ruin it as well. I'm a big ban of GNG/GDW but I think it should stay in Japan  And if anyone asks why, just see the list that Martin put xD

DEFINETELY agreed! I also LOVE GNG & GDW...and I LOVE the japanese voice actors (except Hougen's XD) and I think an American version would ruin it. Not that I don't like he American accent - on the contrary! I just think that it would be best if it was kept Japanese ^^

They'd show it on ADult Swim like Wolf's Rain anyway but they only showd GNG in Sweden because it was so crappily animated over doing the blood but I read something that they'll be realeasing it in america sometime this year or near 2009 they'd have crappy voices for the characters the only time they did well was with wolf's rain and that was on Kiba and Tsume only

GNG came out in the 80's and GDW came out in the mid-90's so thats why everyone here is saying it would be kruddy. No one would really be interested in it besides people who already like it because lil kids and some teens dislike seeing any old films or cartoons.....

Not true  I watch GNG every day, or just about every day and never get bored of it. GDW, I watch when I want to, because it didn't catch me as fast as GNG. There's actually a lot of people I know who like it and others will catch on  I have to disagree with that statement, non-offensivly 8D

Yes; since I live in the USA, I downloaded the subbed version and had them all burned to discs  I'm currently doing the same for Weed, but I'm not a huge fan of the show anymore, so that's why I don't watch it as much, too
