I literally have petted a wolf hybrid before and i wasnt scared at all! Well except when it jumped on me...no the dog's NOT mine. I would not want one 'cause they're dangerous. I petted one last year. Is it illegal to have one of them, anyways???

Yes, I have petted a hybrid. He was very friendly, well, atleast for a puppy in a chewing stage. But when he was older he was a great dog!

Once I was at a horse show and we were walking around when we saw this woman with this fullgrown-I-think wolf-dog. Even though he was 75% wolf and 25% she-didn't-tell-us, he acted nice and happy like a normal dog does when people give it attention. He pushed his head against my hand, and boy, he was strong! If he pushed harder, he might've bruised my hand a little! But, yeah.

I've only seen photos.. :(

They are pretty much illegal in England. Well, you have to have a dangerous wild animal license. I agree with what wolfgurly says though regarding what I've read about them as well. They're not like dogs.. they require patience and strong handling. You have to have an incredible knowledge of a dog.. and wolf's behaviour and traits.

Well, first off, they aren't dangerous. They are just like any other except maybe a little more energetic. They are not illegal unless they are a hazzard (agressive) but, that goes for any dog.

And no, I have never pet a hybrid. One day I would like to own one. I love wolves.

My step-gram has one, and he is so sweet. I said many times that I was going to take him some night and keep him for myself. He gets along great with my Malamute and Husky. I told her that I wanted one of his puppies some day.

There is an institute called the Lost Wolf Rescue that helps abandoned wolves. I have heard and seen wolves htat have been tammed at puppyhood.
