Shout box, Roleplay, and VIP....

I have a suggestion for all of the Shout, Roleplay and VIP boxes....Perhsps when a person is in one of the boxes, there could be a list of names some where on the side, and you could click on the names of the people that are in a certian box, so they know who talking to who....Heres and example....

Juska says to Frost- Hi! How are you?

What do you think?

Well that's true, and the shout box isn't meant to act like a private messenger. Everyone should talk to everyone.

Yeah, that would basically defeat the purpose of private messages...and I have a feeling it would be too hard to do.
Personally, when I want to talk to a specific person, I write something like "(name) -> (message)".

I don't think she is meaning like its private. I go onto this one chat site where there are names on the side, and when you click on them, it puts their screenname in the text box, so you don't have too. I personally find that laziness. :roll:

And I dont really find the idea... enchanting. Because it is really annoying. Not like actually typing it out "Kari -> Hey, yeah yeah. I know, huh?" And stuff. XD

Don't say this. Everyone should be able to post suggestions, even if it turns out to be a wrong idea. Else, how could the site improve?

I agree with the others from above.This would ruin the magic from the Instant messangers.And it sounds pretty impossible..and too complicated and all.

I sometimes go to the VIP box,but I mostly use the Shoutbox.

And no, Juska. It was just that it seems to ruin the 'magic', as Deni put, from instant messengers.

uhh...ok...one problem...that had nothing to do with the topic.

It was a pretty good idea, but I dunno...I think it just wasn't really that neccessary

Actually... I was interpreting this a different kind of way...

More like, a list of people who are on a particular shoutbox. I mean, since the site lists those who are on the main site, it doesn't list who's on which shoutbox.

So it would be something like this: 10 people are on the regular shoutbox, click here to see who they are
15 people are on the RP box, click here to see who they are
5 people are on the VIP box, click here to see who they are.

Or, instead of that "click here to see who they are" crap, it could just list who those people are.

Man, that looks like it's complex... does anyone understand that?
