Wall of Shame?

I was wondering. Should BS have a wall of Shame where all the permanentaly banned members are posted so as to act as a warning to other potential rule breakers.
I've seen other sites use this (such as Gingaboard: http://www.gingasite.net/ginga_board/in ... topic=1118 ).
This is only a suggestion.[/b]

Wall of shame?well...if you think about the Banned people,there allready is a "Banned Box " :mrgreen:

..Only them and the Mods can access,and they can't talk with eachother only with a Mod.

Could be interesting, but I fear that people would see this, and then say "hey, it's my friend in the list, he/she hasn't done that, please unban him/her!!!"

The topic could be locked and only editable by the mods (and anyway, don't they already say that?)

Yes they do and its quite annoying. I say its good idea. I'd get a kick out of it :lol:

Well, it really wouldn't be teasing them, we would just put their name up on a page on the site (or something else) so newer members can come and see what they've done. Then, they will abide by the rules, because they don't want to be banned like the other rule-breaking people here.

Tis true....I still don't like the idea of it....but if maybe it was only used as a reminder of those members...like, not letting the other members say anything with complaints or rudeness...

Yeah, thats what a Wall of Shame is usually made for XD To make an example out of people. Some people make fun of them...for the fun of it, but its not a necessity for a WoS

I like the idea but as earlier said people would be winning about how their friends didnt do anything because they know them better.

But I think it may work as long as there is a disclamer about how the people on the list did something bad enough to get banned so dont ask if anyone can be unbanned. But that doesn't seem to work to much now so just threaten them with suspension.

I think it's an alright idea. As long as no members can post replies on it unless they are mods or part of the Bsource staff.
