Okay, I just found ANOTHER person's art (who shall remain nameless) who has TRACED or REFERENCED extremely, without citing. This person was in the shout boxes flaunting; "Look at my art!"
I'm sorry, but I find tracing pathetic. YES, I WAS in that boat before, but I was smart and saw how the originators took in, and immeadiately saught out my own style.
I have breezed through some galleries, and noticed several had traced work (all or a little, it makes no difference) and they claimed it 100%.
The bad thing is, is the one I just reported for art theft was stolen from those Movie Images it shows in the Fan Area.
How do I know?
1.) The artists' lines were close, if not the same, as the images.
2.) The cutoff points. No one EVER makes a L cut-off line on a picture (unless a collage, I guess. Or it was purpose for a smaller picture to come)
3.) They were, in all aspects, the same. The eyes, mouth poses, overall poses, teeth (if shown), direction faced, and so on.
I just wonder why the mods haven't caught this yet, and to be honest, I'm a little disappointed in some of them for accepting obviously stolen art from the makers of Balto Source, when the images that were stolen are RIGHT THERE...
Isn't there SOMETHING that can be done?
