This is a follow up to Tibby's Visual Guide on Transparent Backrounds:
here.
See, I saw someone's avatar, where there was some white that had removed, that should have been kept there. So, I figured, maybe some people had trouble figuring out how to fix this. So, I am following up to what Tibby did. So first, you will have to read HER Guide to use MINE.
Ready? Lets get started.
First, I want you to go to
Tibby's Visual Guide to Transparent Backrounds and then to continue on with mine.
So, after using Tibb's guide, you should be somewhere around here:
I am using a pic of Steele, because he happens to be WHITE. So, if you made the backround transparent it would make some of his fur disappear. So, we are gonna fix that.
You are going to need to change the backround colour. Make it a colour that the picture has NOTHING of. For this pic, I decided to use hot pink. Why, I dont know. Its just not on there.
If around the edges are white, you can colour that in, or just leave it.
If you want to add words,
do it now. Later, you wont be able too.
Then you will need to click on the transparent button (circled in red), then click 'yes' when the warning pops up.
Like so, and then you will be taken to a box that says a few things. When you get to it, it should be on around 30% I think. But you can change it to whatever you want. I happened to have it on 100%. And it should have the same colour as your backround choosen at the top.
Click on Preview to preview it. And then once you find it to your liking, click 'Ok'.
And it should look something like this:
And yes, you are going to want to save it as a
GIF, because if you dont the funny coloured backround will show up! So once saved, it should look like this:
Yes, I added words, but I had to go BACK to do so.

So there you have it! Making sure your white coloured parts stay intacked.
Hoped this helped!
End of Visual Guide.
