Kovu's design stolen?

Hi, this is one of my first topics. I was researching Kopa today, and found that his character design is almost exactly the same as Kovu's, apart from his coloring! The team that did LK2 must have copied Kopa's character design to make Kovu, because one: 6 new adventures came out before LK2, and two, Kopa and Kovu just look too similar! :shock:

who's Kopa? Never heard of him or her.... :lol:

Kopa's design is nothing more than a clone of Simba with Kovu esque hairtuft.
True they could have got the tuft idea from Kopa, but other than that, nothing else about Kopa is Kopa. His eyes, face, cheeks, colours - completely Simba

, Kovu certainly takes none of Simba's attributes either.

I agree. Kopa and Simba share everything in common except for the hair-tuft. But when it comes to Kopa and Kovu the only thing they have in common is the hair-tuft.
