You'll Always Be My Baby
This poem was made in memory of Rita E. Coito. My Mother, my friend, my cousin's Grandmother, my Aunt's Mother, and my Aunty Kathy's spouse. We all miss her. And Aunty Rita, if you're watching us, we all love you very, very, VERY much. You died, it was September first. But, the pain of you dying will NEVER go away. NEVER. This was made for you, Aunty, and I want to make you proud of me in any way I can. The day I write this, or start writing this, is your birthday, February tenth. So it has more sentimental value to me.
And, in a way, my Aunty Rita, is like my own Aniu, and I'm, heh, her Balto. She keeps me safe and out of harms way and guides me through life, my Aniu my Aunty Rita
And without further stalling my poem:
You'll Always Be My baby My death has brought you pain, and suffering, But, but I want you to know, My Baby That pain will never leave, but it will go to a pounding heartache It will dullen, but you will not forget about me, if you do, I can never come back My Baby, My Baby, never forget, the way I held you, and when you were hurt, I kissed your tears away, and made you laugh, to try make your belly ache better Please, My Baby, I am your angel, your guardian from the Heavens, God protects me And in turn, I protect you, I'm in your dreams, and make your nightmares go away
Be it the wind, the rain, or the moon in the sky The spin of the Earth, or the changes in the ocean's tide But one day, you and me, we'll be renewed to when we last met You just a baby of things, and I will be younger, but not by much But, one way, or the other, you and I will be together, and when we are reunited NO ONE WILL COME BETWEEN US The pain will vanish, and happy tears will come, Even when you are a Parent, and a Grandparent, I want you to know....
You'll Always Be My Little Baby...
