Well I was watching American Idol last night (we get it over here) and realised how much they've copied the original British version, Pop Idol. Pop Idol was a show that was on here about 7 years ago that Simon Cowell was a judge on. Simon Fuller gave the rights to Cowell to create the show over in America, it's basically the same but a different name. Now American Idol is like the most popular talent show EVER, but it's just a copy off a good show. There were only two winners before they stopped and made The X Factor, Will Young and Michelle McManus. American Idol even has the same theme music and logo! But I never see mentioned in the programme that it started over here first. I've heard that Simon Cowell had to pay Simon Fuller loadsa money because the programme never gave mention to the original.

Anyway who do you want to win? XD Over here they've just finished all the auditions and on Friday it would be the start of bootcamp. I want that British bloke to win, Thomas is it?

I liked this other girl who sang a Celine Dion song but didn't get through... Dont know her name.

Question to people in America: How far is the show there? On friday it's the first day of Hollywood bootcamp?

It's on twice for us on Friday at 8:30pm, ends 10:30.

I also heard that Pop Idol might be making a return, I doubt it though. We got The X Factor for at least another three years.
