Post subject: Topic on tips for drawing the Lion King characters
PostPosted: Thu Feb 08, 2007 12:49 pm

Now, I made a similar topic some time ago, but somebody locked it. I've noticed several people here asking on how to draw, so I made a topic where you can exchange tips. Here's some from me:

1: buy a book online called "Disney's How to Draw The Lion King". I've used it for over 8 months, and can now draw a near perfect Simba.

2: when drawing a head, start with a perfect circle. Then outline the shape of the ears, mouth and so on, which the drawing book I described above also explains.

3: drawing in circles when doing the body can be very helpful. For example, instead of free-handing, try to draw the upper arms as a circle, then do the same with the lower arms, THEN draw the arms the way they are supposed to look.

Now, this topic is NOT POINTLESS MODS, SO DON'T DELETE!!! :D
