Jenna looks completely younger in Balto 2 than she does in the original, I mean look at the difference, do you agree that Jenna looks more like a teenager in Balto 2 than in Balto?

That probably wasn't a conscious decision on their part. Perhaps the animators just didn't follow the character sheet from the first movie very accurately. Or could it be a coloration difference? I don't have WQ on DVD so I can't do an honest comparison.

I agree with Loz and VidanTiger - I think the animation in the sequel is messed and the animators didn't follow the original refs well. :?

Yeah, I don't think they actually intended to create an age gap in there, I think it's just the result of poor animation.

The first movie was gloomy in most parts, so the animators needed to show that with darkness wich gave Jenna an older look. In Balto 2 Jenna has a family of her own and the movie wasn't dark and gloomy so the animators took the darkness off wich gave Jenna a younger and happier look.

It's more then likely that Jenna was the same age in both movies

I think it's the other way around. I think she looks much prettier and younger in Number one and in number two and three she looks older. I guess that's just my opinion though.

I agree with the lighting issue. Light color seems to imply younger age.
I also completely agree with baltolover99. Jenna looks much younger and prettier in Balto 1.
GO JENNA!

The animation isnt as good as it was in the first balto. plus the colours dont look real and they affect the idea too.

A lot of us prefer the characters from Balto 1, but as all mentioned above, the animation is the reason. I dont think she looks 'younger' but just different... but too different to the point that she looks really weird. Maybe the different voice actor makes her seem younger too. The colours were different and that is a reason, but i think that she looks prettier in the first movie.

Well maby.. from what I can tell in that B1 screenshot, she looks a lot cuter. lol and also she gained some pounds in the second and 3rd movie.
