So, as the title says, what is the coolest album cover you have ever seen?
And also can you show a picture of it? ;)

Well, for me it would be KISS's Destroyer album cover, here is a picture:

How about you guys?

Alright, there has been some pretty awesome artwork on rock albums. Let me take you on a tour of some of the best....

Artist: Iron Maiden
Album: Powerslave
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Iron ... rslave.jpg

Wow, look at the awesome detail on here. This is just too wicked awesome. The colors, the artistry, man, this just makes you WANT to listen to what's on the album.

Artist: Kansas
Album: Point of No Return
http://www.amazon.com/Point-Know-Return ... B00005Y1M3

Go ahead and click to enlarge the image. That’s just a sweet image, looks like a wonderful painting or something.

Artist: Ozzy Osbourne
Album: Bark at the Moon
http://tralfaz-archives.com/coverart/O/ozzy.html

Ozzy dressed as a werewolf? That’s just awesome!

Artist: Dead Kennedys
Album: In God We Trust Inc.
http://www.deadkennedys.com/images/albums/psd/index.htm

Second album down, in case you can’t tell, it has Christ crucified on dollar bills. A wonderful, sarcastic piece of satire.

Artist: Led Zeppelin
Album: Led Zeppelin
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:LedZ ... mcover.jpg

Just amazing.

Artist: Jackyl
Album: Jackyl
http://rateyourmusic.com/release/album/jackyl/jackyl/

You’d have to be an amazyngly dedicated fan to know about these guys (get it? I spelled amazingly wrong on purpose). Their cover art was recently rated among the most ridiculous, although I thought it wasn’t bad. Enjoy the southern hair metal!

Artist: The Plasmatics
Album: Beyond the Valley of 1984

To hopefully prevent me getting yelled at, I will NOT post a link to this album art. Other than the fact that it is slightly inappropriate, it’s just a cool picture of the four “horsemen of the apocalypse”, and the inside art is even cooler; it contains exploding cars and all types of awesomeness.
