These are the first two chapters of my new fanfic. Read it and see if you like it.
Chapter 1 The Battle
Kaso watched as the sun slowly rose into the sky, signaling the begining of a new day, the day of the battle between his clan, Kroshi, and their enemies, the Hanis. He watched from his favorite spot on top of the den, he sighed and watched his father ready the warriors, giving them instructions and battle tactics. Kaso was to fight away from his unit, he was to ambush the alpha that was defended at the back of the enemy lines. He was to cut around and cut off their escape route, leaving him and the alpha to fight alone. He had spent four months training for this, his only brothers, Kosal and Ferno, had been working him hard. Kosal was a gentle hearted and kind yet strong wolf, while Ferno was a cold hearted brutal wolf that did not accept Kaso or Kosal. He was jelous of Kosal because he was older and would become alpha when their father passes away. He wanted to get rid of both of them, Kaso was strong and had beaten Ferno in sparring many times. Kaso would just get in the way of Ferno, so he watched Kaso from behind the den, plotting and chosing the best way to get rid of his brothers.
The warriors and Kaso gathered for their battle signal, Kaso and his father, Jenim, started it off. They tilted their heads back and wished themselves all safety for the battle. One by one the warriors joined into their signal. Finally, it was time, the units took their battle formations and cleared out into the wide, dense forest. Kaso sighed and took his way into the forest, he could smell the other clan, they were very near. Kaso rounded the scent and finally came to some bushes where he awaited for the defense of the enemy to come, accompanied by their leader. It seemed almost an hour until he heard the sound of fighting. He could hear claws slashing and jaws clamping, he heard the many shouts of the wounded wolves. Finally the scent came closer, he tensed his muscles, ready to strike at any time. A large line of wolves came running through the clearing. Kaso pounced out of the bushes onto the alpha, they tumbled for a split second. When they stopped Kaso had the alpha pinned down, he snapped at the throat but was tackled by one of the wolves, he struck a pressure point on the wolf's side, making the wolf collapse instantly. Kaso lept for the alpha, he missed and landed a yard away. They circled each other for several minutes, their eyes locked in a never ending glare. Finally Kaso sprang and caught the alpha off gaurd, forcfully pushing a pressure point in his throat, the alpha was parazlized temporarily, Kaso lept for the throat but the alpha snapped out of the paralization quickly. It seemed almost an hour of fighting going on between them, many bodies were thrown into the clearing, Kaso knew many of them they were his fallen comrades. Kaso finally pushed hard enough on the pressure point in the alpha's throat that the alpha began to choke. Kaso Jumped on the alpha and snapped his jaws at the throat, reducing the alpha's throat to nothing but a bloody, gory mass. He felt the body go limp in his jaws, one of the enemies spotted Kaso with the alpha dead in his jaws. The warrior was probably the beta of the pack, he leaped at Kaso, tearing through Kaso;s side and leaving a large scar on his side. More blows were drawn by the beta, Kaso felt defenseless. He was bleeding profusely and had to end this battle. He quickly jumped for the beta's open throat and snapped immediatly at the feeling of fur. The beta went limp and Kaso threw the mangled body across the clearing. He collapsed, tired and helpless knowing that he had used all of his energy. He looked around and heard no more fighting, no more cries of pain and death. He only heard the sick silence that death brought. Kaso felt sick, looking at the bodies and the taste of blood in his mouth. His eyes caught a horrifying sight, his mothers mangled body lying lifeless in a corner of the clearing.
Chapter2 Wounds That Don't Bleed
Kaso's eyes filled with tears as he watched his mother's gentle silver fur billow in the wind."MOTHER!!!!!!" he yelled with sadness in his cry. He could hear the echo of his cry throughout the forest. He felt as though his heart had been ripped out and he was still alive. Kaso jumped up with his ears erect as he heard footsteps approaching, he had no energy left and knew that he could not fight, but he had no choice but to stand his ground. A large black wolf stepped into the scene, it was Jenim, his father. Jenim saw Kaso's eyes and the sadness that they held, Kaso stood down and collapsed at his father's paws, he felt tears fall from above. Kaso looked up only to see his father's sad golden-brown eyes staring straight into his. His eyes told Kaso,I'm here, It's ok I'm here, they said. Kaso stood up and looked at his father with fierce eyes, Jenim licked away the tears form kaso's face and Kaso did the same. Jenim nodded, signaling that the battle was over and it was time to return home. Kaso limped at his fathers side, using his body as support. Many time's Kaso fell and landed in the dirt face first. But he only stood back up and continued his slow pace to his home. They came to the den, Kaso knew that nobody would be waiting for them, inside of the den lay two wolves, Ferno and Kosal, Kosal rushed to Kaso and nuzzled him lovingly, but Ferno stayed in his spot. Kaso lay down against the wall and began to lick his wounds. Kosal and his father attended to him as well. Jenim only had a few scratches and Kosal had already attended to his wounds, Ferno only stayed in his dark corner, where it was hard to tell if he had even fought. Kaso's eyes filled with tears once again, but his father licked his face before he could even let a tear out. The tounge brushing against his fur made Kaso feel calm, and happy. But that did not replace the sadness that lingered in his heart for his fallen mother. His father continued to lick Kaso's face until he was fast asleep. The entire day had been silent, nobody talked, nobody laughed......nobody smiled. There was no victory for either of the clans, only death was the true winner.
Kaso awakened, he felt his father's and his brother's warm bodies against his. He layed his head on top of his brothers neck. He looked into the corner of the den and saw that Ferno was not there. Kaso did not want to wake his father and brother, so he stayed still where he was. The sun slowly rose into the sky, filling the den with a dim light. It was not long before Jenim and Kosal were awake. Kaso nuzzled his father and brother gently and stood up, stretched and walked out of the den. He looked around the empty dens, it seemed as though the clearing had died away with the members of the pack. "It's....all gone," he stated sadly to himself. Jenim walked out of the den he stood at Kaso's side and looked out at the empty clearing. "Yep.....its all gone, but we're still here," he said. A voice came from the trees and the wind,They have won bitterly, they said. Kaso walked around and inspected the clearing, there wasn't a single soul, apart from them, left in the pack.
The rest of the day was spent cleaning up the mess in the battleground, Kosal and Ferno were in charge. One by one they buried the dead bodies of those who fought valiantly to the end. Ferno finally stepped in front of his brother and snarled, Kosal looked confused as he put down a corpse. "Ferno what are you-" his words were cut short by a fierce attack from Ferno. Kosal hit the ground forcefully from a swipe of Ferno's mighty paw. Kosal jumped quickly to his feet and tackled Ferno, he was sent sprawling to the ground. He did not give up, his snapped at the air near Kosal's throat. They struggled to pin one another, but failed. From a distance the fighting could be heard. Kaso heard the jaws snapping and the furious shouts from the den. Jenim and Kaso sprang to their feet and ran towrd the clearing. Kosal and Ferno were furiously biting at each other's throats. "Stop!" Jenim shouted, but Ferno only continued to attack while Kosal tried to stop the battle. Jenim jumped at Ferno, grabbing him by the neck and tossing him to the ground. Ferno turned and faced Jenim, he circled the larger wolf, a burning desire of killing all of them filled his eyes. Kosal tackled Ferno to the ground, but the next move sent a shock through Kaso's heart. Ferno reversed the pin, and without hesitance, he dug his fangs into Kosal's throat. Kosal struggled and then his body went limp, Jenim was filled with anger and new that a killer had to be killed. Jenim had only one option; to fight his son. "Kaso run!" he yelled. Kaso nodded and dashed off into the forest, behind him he could hear his father and brother fighting, then a sudden cry of pain that sounded like his father rang through the forest. All was silent, Kaso wanted to run back and assist his father. But he knew, by now his father would be long gone. Tears filled his eyes as he ran faster and faster into the dense forest, he had to escape, to get away from all of the death and suffering in his pack. "Why......" he said to himself. He wondered why his brother had killed his own family, why...... The same question was repeating itself in his mind, clouds began to gather. A small tear of water fell from the sky, then more. It seemed as though the sky itself was weeping for Kaso's fallen family. Kaso continued to run until his muscles could barely support his weight. He began a slow pace, a slow pace to nowhere.

Well Here's chapter Three:
Chapter3 Into New Arms
Kaso's tears seemed to flow like a river of never-ending water, he was tired. Kaso had traveled three days and two nights without food or water, his pace slowed with every passing hour that he did not rest. He began to fall repeatidly, his stregnth was drained. And the sky was the same as Kaso's tears, it hadn't stopped raining for the three days. Kaso tried to ignore the rain, but it got colder every day and evey night, winter was approaching and he was at risk of freezing to death out in the cold conditions. The forest was a 40-mile stretch of trees, Kaso had barely traveled 20 miles on his own, but little did he know that he was about to get into trouble. Kaso passed a tree that was furiously marked with scratches, a fight had gone on between several wolves, Kaso tried to quicken his pace to pass through the sight. A twig snapped to his left and the bushes ruffled on his right, he felt surrounded. His ear pricked up and he listened closely for any other sounds, but what he heard was not friendly. "Well,well,well.....it seem's as though a pup has wandered into our territory," said a gruff voice from behind a bush. A large black wolf stepped into view, his chest was torn with a large scar. "It would seem so," said a sly voice coming from behind a tree, an amber wolf stepped from behind a tree and stood next to the black wolf. From behind two grey wolves blocked Kaso's only escape route. Kaso felt helpless once again, he was surrounded. "Oh, where are my manners, I am Scar and this is Hunter. We are the Blood pack," said the large black wolf. All of the wolves began to circle Kaso, his heart was beating twice as fast. Then all at once, they leaped on him and began tearing away at the smaller defenseless wolf.
Half an hour later, Kaso collapsed, he was unbale to fight back the entire time. He felt defenseless as the wolves continued to thrash him. His head side and legs were bleeding profusely, the rain washed the blood away from his silver fur and white chest, giving Kaso a stinging sensation in every wound. The wolves cackled loudly, "That was fun.....lets leave him here, I want to let him die a slow and painful death!" Scar exclaimed. He held his tail high, feeling victorous. Scar walked away into the deep forest, the rest of his pack followed. Kaso lay on the ground, his entire body wrecked with pain. He whimpered as he tried to get to his feet, but failed miserably. His strength gone, his body mangled, it reminded him of the battle he had fought and the cries of pain and death. His eyes, wearily began to droop, then all went black.
Niru, a tall, fully grown, grey male wolf, had successfully tracked down and killed a white-tailed deer on his own. He had the meat in his belly and was walking back in the flooding rains to his den, where his mate waited patiently for him. He came up to a small clearing, small amounts of blood were splattered on the tall spruce trees. Then Niru picked up a faint scent, another wolf. He looked to his right and located the source, a smaller silver wolf lay near a bush unconcious. Niru padded over toward the wolf and examined the still body. He could see the white chest moving faintly, the wolf was still breathing. He's still alive, Niru thought. He examined the wolf more closely and noticed the deep wounds. Without hesitation, Niru lifted the small wolf onto his back and started off toward his den. The rain seemed to get heavier, but Niru ignored the rain, right now all that mattered was the young wolf's safety.
Niru came to a cliffside, over looking the entire forest. On the edge was a large den, inside a sleeping female. Niru walked into the den and set Kaso down. Kaso barely regained his senses, he could feel the cold floor of the den. He opened his eyes and stared into the grey male's golden-brown eyes. Niru stared at Kaso a few seconds before Kaso closed his eyes once again. Niru nudged his mate, Ulia, trying to arouse her. She opened one eye and smiled up at Niru, Niru kept his expression neutral as he pointed toward the young wolf. Ulia jumped to her feet and went over to Kaso, examining every inch of his battle-torn body. "Niru.....where did you find him?" Ulia asked in shock. Niru also went over to Kaso, "I found him in the Blood Pack territory, he took a beating. Probably Scar and Hunter stirring up trouble again," he said sternly. Ulia growled lowly at the name of the two wolves. A large wind brushed across the den, making a howling sound. Kaso stirred and curled up for warmth, Ulia felt sympathy for the young wolf and lay down beside him. She began to lick away the blood from the deep wounds. Kaso could feel the soft tounge against his fur, his frail body relaxed with every steady stroke of Ulia's tounge. After cleaning Kaso's fur of the blood, Ulia curled up around the wolf to keep him warm, she looked over at Niru who was on the opposite side of Kaso. "Just looking at him....it reminds me of our pups," she whispered softly across to Niru. Niru smiled and rested his large, grey head on his forepaws. He closed his eyes and listened to the now calm, trickling rain. It was not long until the moon was already in the pale sky, the rain had finally subsided. Niru had forgotten about the meat he had stored in his belly for the two of them to eat. He stood up and padded over to Ulia's side, she looked up at him and smiled. Niru opened his mouth and a faint squeak came out a first, them a foamy pile of meat cascaded from his mouth. Ulia began to eat peacefully, she finished her share and waited for Niru to finish his. Niru smiled and bolted down the last chunks of deer meat. He lay down beside Ulia and nuzzled her lovingly, then he rested his head on her neck and closed his eyes, immediatly falling asleep.

I'll keep posting chapter three bit by bit if you don't mind.
___________________________________________________
The den faced toward the moon, making it bright every full moon. The moon was crecent but still gave an immense amout of light, the light seemed to creep its way onto Kaso's eyelids. He squinted as the bright light shone on his face, Kaso at first did not see anything, then obscure figures, a blurr, and then he saw that he was in a den, sleeping beside a female grey wolf. Kaso tried to lift himself, but two of his legs were useless to him. With the stirr, Ulia sleepily opened her eyes to see that the young wolf had awakened. "You're awake," she said softly. Kaso looked turned and examined the female. She had a light grey chest and the rest of her pelt was a dark silver. Her amber eyes pierced his mind, almost as if she could see what he was thinking. Kaso whimpered as he felt a throb being sent back and forth through his chest, "Who.....are you," he said faintly, then whimpered again as he attempted to stand once more. "Don't push yourself......you're still hurt. I'm Ulia," she said softly. Kaso was begining to wonder if this female had saved him, he was about to ask when another surge of pain coursed through his body, making him whimper. "Did you......save me?" he asked faintly. Ulia nodded and curled up tighter around Kaso, making sure that he did not attempt to stand again. Kaso's face and muzzle were pushed towrd Ulia's chest as she curled up tighter , he buried his face into her soft pelt and closed his eyes slowly, he was tired and in pain. Her chest was welcoming and warm, it reminded him of his mother. "Thats right.....just sleep, you need your rest," Ulia said in a calm and soothing voice. "I'm....Kaso," Kaso said before falling into a much needed sleep. Ulia stroked Kaso's head with her tounge, then rested her head on his. She stayed awake for a few minutes, but the fatuige soon got to her and soon she was fast asleep.
The next morning came quickly, the sun rode into the sky with a majestic light that cut through the mountains and onto the horizon. Niru gave a large yawn and his eyes golden eyes fluttered open. Niru arose and stretched his sore muscles, he looked over his shoulder and smiled down at Kaso and Ulia. He walked out of the den and overlooked the mountains for some time. The sing of the birds and the life around him was calming. Ulia awakened to the chrip of birds, her ears pirked as the high sound entered her head. Kaso was still tucked into her chest and sleeping soundfully. Kaso stirred at the faint movement that Ulia caused. His eyes weakly opened and he yawned widely. Ulia arose from her spot and looked down at Kaso, "Good morning," she said cheerfully. Kaso gave a slight smile and replied, "Good morning,". Kaso was still weak beyond measure, his muscular body had gone thin, due to the lack of food. A slight rumbling sound erupted from his stomach and Ulia chuckled softly. "Don't worry, my mate will get you something to eat in a moment," she said softly looking over her shoulder at Niru. Niru glanced over at Ulia, she nodded and signaled him to come over. He padded back into the dark den. Niru looked first at Ulia and then down at Kaso. Kaso tilted his head upward and looked into the great golden eyes that matched his. "How are you feelin' son?" Niru asked. Son...a word that warmed Kaso's heart. He smiled and said,"I'm fine,". Niru chuckled softly and then sighed, "Thats good, now tell me your name," he said. Kaso nodded, "I'm Kaso," he spoke a little more faint as his stomach rumbled again. Niru bent down and felt the bottom of Kaso's throat with his muzzle. He lifted his head and glanced at Ulia, "He's warm, probably just a fever. Kaso don't excert yourself and stay in the den." he said turning towards the entrance of the den. Niru stopped and looked back, "I'm Niru," he said before leaving the den in search of game. Kaso smiled and curled up. Niru...somehow that name seemed familiar. Kaso paid it no mind as he stared out of the den blankly, he wanted to be outside with all of his strength to enjoy the world. But here he was, weak and sick.
