Asking the same question over and over and OVER again

As a questions mod, I have to look through every question every day, and I can say from what I've seen that people look at the search bar, shrug and post anyway. I can't even begin to count how many questions there are about member points, avatars, how to make music videos/fan images etc. It's annoying beyond belief to have to delete at least 2 of these questions every single day. It's not that hard to type in a WORD and search to see if there's a question similar. ESPECIALLY when the SAME question isn't even halfway down the darned page.

Gah.. I HATE it when people do this. But I hate it more when the KEEP POSTING IT after I delete it. I've even had someone PM me yelling at me for deleting their question. That really.. peeved me. I mean.. HELLO that search bar is there for a REASON.

Completely right! Although I am not a Questions Mod, I still look through the new ones everyday, in an attempt to help out those who don't know what to do, or such.

But seriously. The search bar is there FOR A REASON. Now, I am sure for the question mods, it is more annoying, but its annoying to have to TELL people to use the search bar even though it is RIGHT above the title for the question. :roll:

It takes maybe FIVE mintues when you have to look through the similar questions. And sometimes, you WILL find ones with good answers on it.

The most common seems to be avatars and member points that are used so much.

Yeah. I think the top question is about avatars. I see them now and I just shudder. >_> There was one day I had to delete 10 of those questions in 15 mintues... And all by differnt people.

XD Maybe Steet should make a sticky, if it's possible, on the main site for how to post an avatar. It IS really annoying, but when I try to do a Search in the Search bar, it always says that nothing comes up.. I don't know why but.. it does. XD
