Seniors Box (Now the VIP)

I don't know about other people, but this new Seniors Box isn't really a SENIORS box.

A Senior isn't someone who has been here for three months. I think a Senior is someone who has been here for at least a year and a half. I have been here nearly sense Balto Source opened!

And 100 messages? I believe that is a bit LOW. Or, I believe it should have nothing to due with it. People like Raina, Chasity, Angelfire, Saltashwolf, Catadventure, and other people have been here sense the dawn of BaltoSource.

I was 10 years old, turning 11 soon when I first joined in on BaltoSource. Maybe not the forums, but I was still with BaltoSource. I am now 14, so that makes that I have been here for abot Three years.

That makes me a Senior. That makes us loyal fans Seniors. Those who have stuck sense it started, and watched BaltoSource change and grow into what it is today.

This Seniors box makes people think they are old, and special for being here so long. But they really haven't been here that long if they have 100 messages and have been here for three months.

There isn't really a point to this box, because ALOT of people have been here for three months, and have WELL over 100 messages. And its another thing for the Mods to watch.

Sure, it makes a place for all the people who some-what know what they are doing, and keeps the newer members in the shout box. But I still dont see a better point.

So, who agrees? Who disagrees? I would LOVE to know what people think of this new Seniors Box.

Oh, and yes, I would probably still complain even if I wasn't so old to BaltoSource. 'Cause I know what makes a Senior. And its not three-month old members.

Interesting to say the very least. However, I fail to see your point. What are you trying to say? The seniors box should be MORE exclusive? Less exclusive? The whole point of it WAS to keep the older members a place to congregate away from the "LOLZ!!!1" and "OMG batlo is sooooooo KEWL" shoutbox. There isn't a "better" point, that IS the point. So I don't know, I agree, it is easy to rack up 100 posts pretty quick, especially if you just post one sentence replys to everything in sight. However, I don't really know what making it more exclusive will really do.

I agree with you for the most part, but then that would leave only us 6 pretty much..XD

True, this box is unnessicary, but how is it a Seniors box?.. Okay, a year. I know quite a few people who have been here for about a year.

And if I could, I would get rid of the box all together. But, I am not telling Steet what to do with his site.

3 Months IS a bit low, but I had my old account deleted so I still have to wait until I've had this one for 3 months, let alone more.. I can't wait that long! @_@

EDIT: ohh. I have a question, are you allowed to RP in the VIP box?

No I would assume not, that is what the RP box is for.

I agree TikTac. And when I made this yesterday it was the 'Seniors' box. So now, it is the VIP box (which I believe is a much better name).

So now that it has been changed, VIP is pretty much meaning a privelege(sp?). And being on the site for three months is not really.. something desirving of the VIP box.

I think that that VIP box should be used for those who participate, and as TikTac said, in more of a calm way. (Although that counts me out. XD).

Although I believe points have nothing to do with it, I am having trouble thinking of a way for how people should qualify for VIP.

I know but part of the reason why I voted yes to this was because of the annoying n00bs in RP. I rarely go there now, and when I do, all people do is want to fight and make it unfair by having 50-feet tall characters.

Yeah, I agree, 3 months is too low. I actually have been on this site for almost a year, I lost the password and email to my old account Flame, which I joined on April 23rd. And the Senior's Box made me feel a lot older than I already am, lol.

Erm, no offense, but that was a useless post.

If you think of it a certain way it makes sense..it means Very Important person..and being here for 3 months doesn't make you important. If you lt it like that.

I dont use the shoutbox much..I feel the people are too random and I dont find it funny..also..like..RP box..gets too well chaotic. The Senior box will just be...random and Chaotic because people will feel special.
