Dusty the sled dog was never just an ordinary dog she was special and unique from all the huskies in Nome. Her appearance set her apart from other dogs in town and she was often dubbed Nome’s wolf-dog look alike. She is even bigger then most huskies and with large paws and a bridge on her nose just like a wolves dogs began to come to their own conclusions about her. Yet she claims she has no wolf blood running through her veins but this can’t stop rumors that have always spread around Nome.
The question that begs answering is that why would Aleu who also looked like a wolf never be picked by a human but Dusty was and is now a brilliant sled dog the only female in her entire sled team? Dusty was brought to Nome when she only a pup by her owner who took up residence and told all the people in town who asked about Dusty’s appearance that she was just a normal husky.
This is the true story about Dusty as she tries to find out who she really is and why she looks like a wolf but claims to have no wolf relations at all? Her journey will take her away from Nome and back to her original home on an epic adventure to discover who she really is...
