I think it would be cooler to walk 2 dogs at once also, but after I couldn't convinced my mom to let me get another one I thought about it and changed my mind... so I convinced my neighbors to get a dog instead! XD
I said stuff like this:
"Please! Look at Kobe, (my dog) she looks sad..she's bored she wants a friend..please"
Then I use times she lied to me against her, like:
"I never get anything I want! You said I could get another dog a long time ago! Your such a liar! I'm sure if Tyler (my brother) asked you for a dog you would get him one"
Yeah I'm kind of mean, but hey..it works.
I'm not bragging, but my dog is the best-behaved dog around where I live (There's only about 5 or 6 other dogs) and I trained her myself, what kind of training tips do you need?

Maybe you could save up your money and get one.
Or tell your parents that your dog gets lonely in the day and needs someone to play with

Well, I've wanted a puppy almost ALL my life and neither my mum nor dad will let me have one for one reason; none of us have time for a puppy.
Everyone is out at school or work for a mimum of four to six hours a day. A puppy would demand full time attention and training. Fortunately, my mum let me get Archie but even this took a lot of persuasion. I convinced her that if we got a rescue dog he'd be already quite aged and wouldn't demand as much attention. Fortunately, Archie is fine left alone and simply sleeps. He's happy so long as he gets his walks.
I'd love another dog to go with him (a Pit Bull puppy or a husky!) but in all honesty, it just wouldn't be suitable. Things would be fine when I'm at home but when I'm at school, it's just not fair on the puppy. I can't see a problem with having two adult dogs, especially if they're both well-behaved and laid back.
However, before asking your parents, think about the situation. That's probably their most likely excuse "We don't have time for another dog." If you do have time, then get down to some very deep and personal excuses
Good luck!

Yeah, well, you have to think about the dog's life as well as your own.

I was thinking about that one. But, where on earth would I find one? And aslo, I would feel terrible about lying and if the ended up in the animal shelter. Still thanks for the idea.^^

Maybe instead of getting another dog, you could make ads for pet-sitting. You don't have to ask for money, but you could charge people if you wanted too. You can take both that dog and your dog for walks and treat them as your own. Also, at most pet shelters they look for foster homes for some of the dogs who aren't doing so well. You take care of the dog, they supply the food, leashes and collars, treats and everything else you might need, and you don't have to pay them. It's actually doing them a favor.

Yeah, that'd be an excellent job. I want to do that some day. I can't at the moment because I'm still a student and at school six and half hours a day.

XD Yeah I know, plus I have 4 cats AND another dog. My cats usually stay away and hide but I'm not gunna keep my dog in the basement all day. But it's pretty much the same if you own a dog, since you still go to school and all.

I might try it too, only thing is, there's no pet rescue shelters by my house. So I probably wont be able to. XD You should, though.
