Ok Im guessing most of you guys already know this but for those of you who dont , most the names from Balto one are place names from Alaska!
Like Kaltag is a city on the Iditarod race track to Nome , Niki is short for Nikolai a town also on the Iditarod trail , Kodi comes from Kodiak (Jenna actually calls him kodiak once in Balto 3) and there's a few more Ive noticed could be connected like Jenna from Yentna. I just thought they could be connected because all (except Kodiak) are on the Iditarod trail which commemerates Balto's journey.

I knew about Nikki and Kaltag but not the others. They're nice names. I guess mushers do actually call their dogs by nearby towns?

The only thing I now is that Aleu is the same aas the Aleutian Islands.

Well, I only know that Alue comes from Aluetions. Which are Islands..
