I'll try adding a link to the rules in the message which is sent when you register on the site.
At the same time, I'll try to change the registration page on the forums, so that people can only register on the site itself. (to avoid confusion with people registering on both while only one is necessary)

You could make a thing to were if you want to join you have to click on a link that is hidden in the rules of bs. that is in the email. so then they would have to be forced to read it. but then of corse theirs ways to get passed that.

I agree - this is EXTREMELY annoying! I hate it when newbies get on and are all breaking rules and then when someone tells them they are they are like "OH YEAH WELL I DIDNT KNOW THAT!"... "Why, because you didn't read the rules?"... "OH NO I READ THE RULES!"... And you just sit there thinking 'If you had really read the rules, you wouldn't be typing in all caps, eh?'.... Uh, duuuuuuuhhhh. I do not enjoy it. And then you say something, and then your turned into the bad guy. o_0

So putting like... an automatic thing, or link in the registration e-mail MIGHT help.

To bad you can't make it so they cant access the site/rest of forums until they click a link at the bottom of the rules, so then they would HAVE to read them.

Yes I agree as well. They need to know the rules, the email idea is a good one!=P
