That topic was just informing thought who didn't know, the title of the book. This is a topic for the book.

This is one of my favorite book series. ^^ I even did a little bit of snooping and this is what I have found out so far about the 7th and final book:
*MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS*
Here is some confirmed news:
-One of Harry's classmates will go on to become a teacher, but it isn't "maybe the one you think, hint, hint, hint," and it isn't Ron, either. The guess is Neville, but we'll see!
-We will see Viktor Krum again.
-Wormtail's life debt to Harry will come into play, somehow.
-We will find out something "incredibly important" about Lily Potter.
-Harry's eye color will come into play. Also, JKR said that "he has his mother's eyes and that's very important in a future book."
-There is "more to the Sorting Hat" than what was presented in the first six books; we will "find out what it becomes" in book seven.
-According to Jo, "one character got a reprieve, but I have to say two die that I didn't intend to die. A price has to be paid. We are dealing with pure evil. They don't target the extras, do they? They go for the main characters, or I do."
-We will find out what Dudley saw in Order of the Phoenix when he was attacked by the dementor.
-We will find out the true identity of R.A.B., though most fans are quite sure it's Sirius's brother, Regulus.
-Although Aunt Petunia is neither a witch nor a Squib, "there is a little bit more to her than meets the eye," and we will find out what that is.

And here are some rumors I have found:
-It is likely we will see the two-way mirror again.
-We may see Sirius again, but we do not know what form it will be in. (You have no idea how I am praying this will turn out to be true!)
-Fawkes will likely play a vital role in book 7.
And here are some things confirmed that will not happen.
-Draco and Hermione will not end up together, nor will they ever, in their wildest, most twisted dreams, even consider it. (Who in the WORLD whould think that?!)
-Lupin will not reoccupy his role as Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. (>_>)
-Wormtail will not use his silver hand to kill Lupin.
-Neither Dumbledore, nor any other character in the series, is another character who has come back from the future. If you remember, JKR cleverly wrote in Half-Blood Prince that in the Department of Mysteries skirmish in book five, all of the Ministry's Time Turners were destroyed, proving wrong the ridiculously complicated time-travel theories out there.
-Luna is not Snape's daughter. (Well.. DUH! Luna's too nice. xD)
-Nicolas Flamel will not teach potions at Hogwarts. He died, remember? (You're telling me someone thought he was alive?!)
-Luna and Neville will not become a couple.
-Harry is not related to Dumbledore. (Someone thought they were related?)
-Lily Potter is not alive, and she never was a Death Eater. (O.o That's good)
-Neville is not Peter Pettigrew's son. Just because neither of them have won Witch Weekly's Most Charming Smile Award five times in a row doesn't mean they're related! Really, now...
-Lupin is not a twin.
So there is some good news in there and bad news.
I really want to know why it's so important that Harry has Lilly's eyes. I wonder if the important information about Lilly has to do with her death, or more rather, after it. How in some way her love protected Harry from Voldamort.
I also really want to find out what Dudly saw when he was attacked by Demntors. That will be interesting and hopefuly answer at least a question or two.
And Wormtail's life debt got a lot of things in my mind going nuts. xD. I don't think he'd exactly turn into a 'white-hat (good guy)', but with the Harry Potter books, you never know.
I want to find out who thought Draco and Hermione were going to get together is so I can yell at them. That's just... too creepy.. and majorly wrong. I'm kind of excited that Krum will be back again. He was a pretty cool character, but I'm wondering where he will come in. It will definatly be interesting.
The thing about the sorting hat (-There is "more to the Sorting Hat" than what was presented in the first six books; we will "find out what it becomes" in book seven.") really has my mind turning, too. "Find out what it becomes." It's a hat! What can it become? Could it be a person..? That's going to be very interesting. And how they said that Gordric Griffendor
created the sorting hat... Well you can probably see where I'm going with that..
I really hope the rumor about Sirius coming back is true. I was so upset when Rowling killed him off. I kind of hope that he didn't really die. And if he did, it would be cool if he comes back as the big black dog. Even though that might make me even more sad than if he didn't come back at all... O.o
I definatly didn't expect Krum to be back, but now that he is, I'm wondering if Ron and Hermione will get together and he will come back, or they don't and Krum gets together with Hermione. I am kind of hoping for a bit of romance between Ron and Hermione, though.

I don't read her books anymore, I just look them up on Wikipedia so I won't be curious.
