What should be done about Pample's gallery?

Since there has been a ridiculous amount of copying of other's art lately, I've decided to see what people think on this situation. I'm expecting people not to be for what *I* think should happen to her, since Pample has almost 400 people favoring her gallery.

But look at it this way: the majority of art sent in to be accepted and a good fraction of the galleries already posted are "clones" of Pample's pictures/styles/characters. Now, since we're all trying to "Find ourselves" (quote from one of Pample's pictures, because SHE HERSELF is getting sick an tired of people copying her, see the bottom for proof) through our art and trying to find our own styles and whatnot, I think we can all agree with Pample that directly copying any artist is wrong. There's no originality in copies, we can agree on that too?

Well, let's see. Can we also agree that copying is fine, IF AND ONLY IF it is for anatomy references? Can we also agree that its not fair to the "original artists" if people copy their art and not refer to them?

Now, steet himself told me that Pample is the "heart" or "life" of this site. I don't think that's especially true, but if it is the "motives are not pure." Since this site IS a nest for art theives (yes, it is true, I found out personally) for the most part people are using Pample's art for their own needs and wants. Those who take pleasure in just looking at her art are also well-aware (just by looking at her gallery) that she is also located on DeviantArt.com and updates on THAT site on a regular basis.

Pample does not come to Balto Source anymore (at least not the English side) and steet uploads her art for her. Can we agree that she's kept on this site because she's a "good artist" and her being here promotes sending in "good art" to the Balto Source fanart section? Can we ALSO agree that with the increased popularity of this site, the art and artists on this site have become better (and in many cases better than Pample's art?)

Now, since Pample does not upload art on this site on a regular basis AND since in the past (and still) we fanart mods have deleted abandoned galleries or just galleries people don't upload art to anymore in general, for the sake of creavitity, I bring you this "oh so heart-shattering" question: Do you think Pample's gallery should be deleted?

EDITED: For the record, I am NOT asking this just because I'm uploading art again (that isn't even set in stone just yet, it depends on EVERYONE'S behavior) This is not out of "jealousy" purposes, I am not jealous of Pample, it is more of a "pity" kind of feeling.

I voted yes, for all the same reasons. Most of the art that is stolen, is usually from pample, and it's annoying. Plus, she's not that good >_> (so I think, I prefer cats and mizzys art to pamples >_>) Besides, I don't think she's promoting anything on the site....And there are many other artists out there who should be faved,and she's got 400+ I think.

Umm, I think to try and stop art theives and copyers, probably yes. We all enjoyed her art but maybe Steet himself should ask Pample if she agress? Or delete all her art or seomthing.

Tic-Tac we have asked Pample by Note on DA and she refuses to answer us and believe me it was an extreamly polite letter. She read the note and completly ignored us so its obvious we will never get a straight answer from her.

I am a big fan of her work and I enjoy looking at it and if I want to countinu looking at it I will do it on devantart. I think the gallery should be deleted like as you say cat that balto source has had many art thvifes over the year but on deviantart she herself can look after her art, so steet and fanart mods don´t always have to run around the site warning people that are new because if the new people never know about her gallery they will never copy her (I´m not saying all new members are art thviefs and most of them are really nice people but the people that most often steal are new and don´t really know the rules well.)
I will miss seeing her art on the site though but there are alot of other great artist here which we can also enjoy art from.

I'm not sure. I understand that there's alot of art theives, but I think her art has a better chance being stolen on DeviantArt, there's tons more members and it's easier to right-click stuff. (No, I DON'T steal art, but I have tried to save pages from DeviantArt before.)

It IS her choice to have it deleted or not, I don't see why you people care so much. All the members that fave her are nothing but n00bs who know nothing about art, I would have 3 favorites from true artists then 400 from 5 year olds who fave people even when they have no art up. Complaining about it wont get you more faves.

She IS a good drawer, I don't know why some of you people can't admit it, I doubt she's done anything to you, from the way you are (this is NOT about Cat, it's about another member who posted in this topic) acting, it does seem like your jealous.

I think everybody draws good in there own way, there IS some better then others, but that's NO reason to complain about it. (Again, about someone else who posted in this thread) Be thankful for how many faves you have, 1 is better then nothing..

I don't even know why we posted this at this point anymore the reason we want it removed is so PAMPLES ART IS NOT FURTHER DESCRATED AND STOLEN FROM ANYMORE KIDS ON THIS SITE DUE TO THE FACT HER GALLERY IS OPEN TO THEM WITHOUT PAMPLES OWN OFFICAL MODERATION OF HER ART. Jealous, please I think we are mature enough to know better. This is outragous that such things would be accused of, we're mature! Cat removed her art from her previously,she had plently of favorites their is no need to be jealous!

Hmm...I don't know. If she didn't answer, then maybe she did want it deleted, but I think it would be a little more polite to wait for an official answer from her. I didn't vote because different instances make me have different opinions...

To save art theft, I would say yes, but it still wouldn't stop it. If she's on DA, then people can always turn there and continue what they're already doing.

We can all tell she is sick of it because she stopped sending art, but what was the point of leaving it up if she didn't want people to steal it? It's confusing...it's like she wants pepole to stop stealing it, but she's not doing anything to MAKE them stop...

I still don't know if it's a good idea. I think we should delete it for her sake, but we shouldn't because she hasn't said what she thinks about it yet...

Kari we've noted and asked her in the most polite ways I even sent on in FRENCH! She won't give us an answer she rudely ignores us. We have asked her polietly and sincerly for the sake of her own art work but apparently she does not care enough to answer.

I understand that, I just think that it would be best if we at least waited for some kind of response from her.
Her behavior does suggest that she doesn't care but we can't be sure...what if she's not ignoring us, but she is somehow unable to respond?

Kari we've waited quite some time, she has read the note but has not responded, she's come to upload art numerous times its very obvious that our note is not going to ever get a response.

Ah, okay...I just wanted to make sure that there was proof that it was being ignored.

Well, I'm still not completely sure if it's a good idea. I'd feel much better if we got an answer first, but according to you it doesn't seem like we're going to get one anytime soon...
I guess deleting it would be a good idea, but some of the members might think otherwise...an awful lot of people look up to her. (and copy her, but I'm not including those people)
