Torn Apart - Story Of A Husky
Every town has the outcast the one who is picked on by all the others, its nature for any species to have the outcast which makes everyone feel better about them selves when they pick on them. This was the same with dogs because once upon a time it was the legendary Balto but now it’s a simple husky named Torn.

The Beginning
Nome Alaska was in the middle of winter, it was cold, snowing and most of the ocean had frozen over with snow. All dogs were lying in their homes near a warm fire with their owner patting or cuddling them for companionship all whilst a small pup sat out in the cold; alone.
The husky pup who was white with a blueish colored fur with black outlines sat out in the cold shivering. He was not part wolf and was nothing special he was simply a husky pup.
Standing up the small pup walked over to a nearby house and looked in the window to see a warm fire and one of his siblings sitting beside the fire with a child playing beside him. The young pup tried to grab their attention as he barked as loud as he could and waited but no one turned to look at him.
His breath soon fogged up the window as he turned away a single tear slowly falling down his face before falling onto the frozen ground. The tear drop instantly turned to cold ice as the small pup walked back out on to the street where he stood alone.
Trying to stop him self from crying he ran down the street in the thick snow till finally stumbling over himself his nose going deep in to the snow where he didn’t move. He just laid there, tears falling down his face as he slowly managed to get back to his feet.
His father had disappeared and shortly after giving birth his mother had died, of course he had an owner but there was always one runt of the litter and when his siblings had all but gone his owner threw him out on to the street.
Torn wasn’t really his name in fact no one had called him anything but the runt of the litter and Torn was a name he decided suited him quite well.
Finally the small pup walked up to a nearby barn where he could feel the warmth coming from a small crack. Slowly he laid down beside the crack huddling up for warmth fearing he’d die from the cold. As he laid there he looked up in to the sky where there was a break in the clouds where he could see a distant star shining.
‘Mother why did you have to leave…I-I’m scared and alone…I don’t know what to do...’
The pup wept at the star till it had disappeared behind a cloud leaving everything once again in darkness. Torn slowly closed his eyes trying to fall asleep in the cold snow which was making him shiver so much it was using what little energy he had left’

Now
…Coming Soon...

I really like the name Torn Apart and I guess after reading this you'd understand why I like the name :D
The story is of course going to be about Torn and his perspective on life by the way others treat him as well as maybe a little romance later on?

Thanks BaltoLuver and triken49 =D
It will be explained throughout the story why he became the outcast and flashbacks to his past experiences will reveal why he has turned out like he has.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Now (Chapter 2)
Torn opened his eyes and stretched his legs out and yawned as he looked out in to the distance where he could see the sun starting to rise up over the water. He was a year old now and had survived everything the world had thrown at him. His fur was still a shade of blue and black but he had grown to almost full size and was enjoying being bigger and stronger then he had been
Standing up he walked away from his home which was simply a boat house that was beside the frozen water. He knew it was safe in there because the people never used the boats when the ice was thick.
He looked over to the town which was bustle of life with people and dogs going about there normal business. Torn usually avoided going near the town because of the dogs that lived there, he was treated like an outcast and even till this day he didn’t know why. His siblings lived in the town but most had left for other towns and only his brother remained.
Slowly slinking past a few people who just stared at him Torn walked in to the center of town and smiled as he watched everyone as though expecting them to come and pat him but the people and children just avoided him.
He wasn’t sure how long he stood there or why he even bothered trying anymore because he knew that no one on the town would ever accept him. Over the past year he had turned bitter and arrogant but this was what constant bullying and put downs did to a dog.
A small child walked past and looked at Torn before who smiled excitedly as he wagged his tail as the young child walked towards him. Before the child could pat him the Childs mother quickly ran up and grabbed the young boy and pulled him back before shooing Torn away who just looked up at her.
‘I’m not dangerous’
He yelled as the child walked away with his mother leaving Torn standing alone on the street as he hung his head low.
‘Of course you’re dangerous…
Growling Torn looked around to see the black and white husky named Silver walk up to him. Torn wasn’t scared of the large husky despite the fact that they often brawled and had to be separated by passing people.
‘You attack others...’
Silver laughed looking at Torn who frowned.
‘That’s a lie I’ve never done anything to hurt anyone, except you…’
Torn said back frowning as Silver grolwed low to himself.
Silver was the husky who often tried to frame Torn in front of the people when ever any of them ever got close to him. He felt a sudden urge to attack but stopped when something caught his eyes at the other end of the street.
Smiling he noticed that it was Nara and she walking with one of her friends that Torn only knew as Myra but it was Nara who caught his eye.
Silver seemed to notice who Torn was looking at and quickly jumped forward knocking Torn to the ground making Myra and Nara turn around and look at Torn who looked up at them shocked. Silver held his head up high and winked at them.
Growling Torn jumped up and lunged at Silver but before he could reach him he stopped in his tracks as a man stood in front of Silver waving his hands about. Silver looked at Torn and smiled as he turned around and started walking towards Nara.
Before Torn could do anything the man started yelling at him again and he quickly backed away until the man went on with his own business.
Looking down at the ground with an embarrassed and sadden expression on his face Torn slowly walked away.
‘What an idiot eh ladies?’
Silver said as he walked up to the girls who looked at him.
‘Are you talking about Torn?’
Nara said looking up at Silver who just smirked and nodded.
‘Torn-apart who else’
Myra and Revlis laughed and Nara smiled awkwardly as she turned to look at Torn who was still walking away.
‘Come on Myra we better back’
Nara said sweetly walking past Silver with Myra close behind. Silver watched them both go before smirking to him self and walking away.
Torn watched from a nearby alley as Nara and Myra walked past but they didn’t even know he was there as they walked past. He had learnt to be very quiet after all the years he’d been alone and was the master at not being noticed.
Nara had deep red fur with black tips on her ears and on her tail, she wasn’t the most popular husky in the town but she was always going to be the most popular in his mind.
Sighing Torn some times just wished she knew who he really was other then the things others had told her. He wanted every one to know who he really was, to know he was alive, but the hope inside was slowly burning away to nothing.
He turned back around and walked back towards the frozen beach his already untidy fur blowing madly in the wind as his blue eyes looked out to the shining star in the distance.
