Are Pit Bulls welcome in Quebec?

Alright, what I would like to know is; are Pit Bulls allowed to be owned in Quebec? If so, wich areas forbid people from owning Pities? I would really like to know. I respect this breed and I am willing to stand up for it at the cost of my own reputation. Please inform me as soon as possible. Just so you know, the reason I'm asking this publicly and not searching myself is because I can't find anything whatsoever on the matter. Therefor, I am asking for your well needed assistance. Thank you! :wink:

By the way, when I say Quebec I mean the province not the city! :wink:

Yes, I think they are. Pitbulls are aloud in Quebec. I haven't been there, but many ppl I know live up there and one of my friend owns one up there. So, I'm pretty sure they are aloud in Quebec. Although I heard they aren't aloud in Iowa.

I don't know, all I know is that they aren't allowed in Winnipeg, as for my dog, nobody knows her breed..but I'm sure that if she were to attack somebody and they found out..I'd be in trouble..

I dunno, but Winnipeg is a city, and I THINK that you have to have a special license, like if you own a wolf-dog. (I'm sure you know this. XD)

Yes, I think they require a license in several states. I know that Detroit is one of them. Not sure about that particular state though.
