I agree completely. I don't go to the articles section much but I hardly see any of the articles mods even putting forth an effort. At least one of them doesn't even come on the site anymore, that I know of.

At least another mod or two should be added, and a few of them should be demodded. We need people who will ACTUALLY do the job.

I'd have to agree with you on this one, it's gotten so annoying to me that I rarely go there anymore..

I wouldn't even upload ANY of these types of articles at ALL if I didn't have to. There was a whole month were I refused to upload any because of how stupid they wereand I'd still be going too, had I not been scolded for not uploading any at all.

I think you don't understand : we nearly NEVER receive any interesting article. We receive lots and lots of things like the one you described.

So, what is best? Accepting nothing at all, and the visitors won't even bother coming on the articles page anymore? Or accepting the "midly-interesting" ones, even though I know very well that it's not the kind of article I was expecting when I made the section.
I think the second solution is still better. And, you don't know what it's like when we have to delete everything that has been sent, and send the authors private messages to tell them they weren't accepted...

No, we don't accept every article sent, it's all the opposite : I would say not even 10% are accepted.

Adding articles mods would change NOTHING to the problem.

I don't believe any more Mods are needed,there are enough,and they're all pretty much active.
