Pointless questions

Is it me or are people spaming the questions page?

I used to like to go to the questions page, but after awhile the same questions were posted or really odd ones such as, how do you post a avatar?

This needs to stop in my opionion.Something needs to be done. should questions be checked before posted?

Do you mean there are some now? Or there usually is? I go there at least once every few hours when I'm on to check and I'll always delete ones that are pointless. The LK source Questions page get spammed a lot, though, and it a tad harder to keep spam free, but I do do my hardest.

But as Togo said, if you see something you can PM either me or Kari and we'll see what action is fit to take.

I mean that there is lots of pointless questions going on everyday tibb. I know you and kari are doing your best effort, but people are posting questions that are the same.

Ignoring them, unless they PM the question mods, will make them go away.

Well...this issue was discussed on the Mods Box a very very long time ago.....and the Questions mod will handle it..Don't worry about it

Well, most people probably don't search before posting a question; and if they do, they may not find the right answer (the search engine isn't perfect)
So I guess the only solution is to answer them again, or to add a link to a similar question which was already answered. As long as they aren't pointless questions of course...

Well, the best thing to do is ignore them and wait for either Tibb or me to delete them. We'll get to them eventually.

Usually we just let people off with a warning if they post a quesion that's already been asked. If they continue, then it becomesan even bigger issue.

Just inform us if you see a duplicate question and we'll get there as soon as we can.
