Oh yes, my favourite breed of dog.. besides the husky.. beautiful animals. I'd love to own one but apparently they are rare outside their country of origin.

Another site worth looking at is http://www.wolfdog.org

Aw, you're lucky!

Exactly what she said... Honestly, those dogs, I would love to have... although I bet they're pretty rare in the US, where I live... but that's just a speculation...

Saarloos wolfhounds are amazing, we had one working as a police dog when I lived in Texas years back. His name was Seamus and I remember seeing a demonstration of what he could do. Move over German Shepherds, these dogs are THE ulimate police dogs and we should definately have more around. I've heard people say how dangerous wolf hybrids are, some think they shouldn't even exist. I agree that they need a very experienced and knowledgable owner but in the right hands they can do things that ordinary dogs are completely unable to do.

LOVE wolf hybrids.

I read about them being used in the armed forces.

Unfortunatly, apparently Czech Wolfdogs shouldn't be used as Police dogs though.. well, if I ever become a Police dog trainer I'll try to get a Saarloos.

I have had the pleasure of owning a wolfdog. She was the most layed back animal I have ever had. Half timber half german shepard. She can do agility and all that stuff. But my dad took her to his new house after my parents got divorced.

I love boxers and rotwhilers (sp)

all they so cute i wish i could have one
