in balto 2 there is no snow on the ground and so makes it look like somewhere in the country side not in alaska. it might be because its summer but in balto 3 its warm weather says kirby in the beginning but there is still snow on the ground so why isn't there in balto 2?

You see in the begining of WQ when Balto is in town ( look at that pic)
http://baltosource.timduru.org/img/gallerie2/17.jpg notice the snow it probably didn't melt since it's in shade, wich means that they were probably in mid summer since in spring it's still cold but starts to melt slowly and that is in the begining of the movie then remember when the time passes 1 year and then there is no snow at all means that they were in summer then balto and aleu's journey to the wolf clan was during fall so it took them 1 whole season from to go from nome to the wolf clan, the end of the movie was in the first days of winter or last very last days of fall. look at that pic
http://baltosource.timduru.org/img/gallerie2/154.jpg there is snow and remember when Balto said " winter is coming early" and aleu doesn't want to leave, then bla bla and stuff happen at the movie then Balto starts his journey home wich would take him another season so he would probably have gotten to nome at mid spring and there it is in B3 remeber the snow was starting melting wich means B3 was probably in the end of spring, because it still snows in sring, and the snow starts to melt slowly wich would leave some water on some other snow and plus the sun heat make it mealt more wich would make the snow slippery.

Movie weather is always just a little off. And sometimes it's alot off.

Well, the lack of snow in Balto 2 is one reason that I prefer Balto 1 & 3 over it...Except that it's snowing at the end of the film. (during grand design)
I don't think they messed up, this is very logical as silver snow explained...
