TUCSON, Ariz. -- It was a sticky situation for a kitten left in a box at an Arizona animal shelter with duct tape on its paws.
The kitten, named Ducky by Humane Society staff members, was otherwise unharmed. The box came with a note on it that said, "I found this kitten on my morning walk."
It took one hour to get the duct tape off its paws using adhesive remover.
It appears that the kitten had tried to chew its way out of the box it was left in.
"What the person did by putting tape on her paws was an act of cruelty and abandoning an animal is an act of cruelty," said Jill Wohlfeil of the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. "Both are punishable by law. We would like to know who dumped the kitten and who put tape on her paws."
The Humane Society said there is scientific evidence that people commit cruel acts toward animals often go on to commit violent acts on humans
That was off a news site but I've forgotten the name poor kitten.
