I thoguht about this, quite wonder.
Didn't Jenna and Balto knew each other before?
Evry action confirm a not in the above statment.
But it seems that Still and Jenna knew each other,
Balto was known in the city, Rosie knew about him & village
Balto grew up in the village, so Jenna probabely.
Still & gang knew about him so they mock him.
Etc...
What do you think?

Ah........I think they have already known each other well,maybe Balto saved Jenna when she was in wild.And the they both fell into love..........like most movies and books.You see,Rosy also knew Balto well.

I think that, they never really totally knew about each other. Maybe Balto and Jenna may have met a few times before, but I dont think they were spending all there time together.

Exactely same thing I wanted to mention too...

balto has obviously seen jenna before to know her name, but maybe not up close to fall in love with her thats why hes surprised

Yes I think Jenna knew Balto because there were some deleted seens in wich seem Balto was stealing meat from Rosie's dad store if I remember well Rosie was with her dad too in the picture I think Jenna knew Balto just by hearing about him not really met him and I think Rosie did meet Balto before besides how would she know his name? and how did she recognice him?

Also, when Jenna sees Balto she is charmed also.

I just wonder why Balto wasn't adopted after he become a hero?

Who knows? Maybe he was.
At the begining of Balto 3, there is a brief scene of Balto, Jenna, and Rosie together. Perhaps her family adopted him?

Anyway, I think that everyone knew Balto by reputation, (He was an outcast. Sylvie and Dixie probably gossiped about him all the time.), and Balto knew Steele and his gang in the same manner, but he (Balto) had not met Jenna before. At least not close enough to be surprised and fall in love.
I think that Jenna probably knew about Balto through reputation, and maybe saw him once or twice.

Balto was adopted. It's logical after he saved Rosie, and love Jenna.
But you know, reasons to make sequels...
As I said, would highly prefer not to include those here.

I agree. Balto obviously already liked her because she was beautiful, but they didn't exactly seem like friends.

I'm not sure myself; the first times I watched the film, I thought he had never seen her before. I still think so, that they only know each other by reputation.
