I never noticed this rule until now, and I've also noticed how little the mods are enforcing this. About half of the members here only post in the two roleplaying boards, and nowhere else. I'd rather not give out names, but I will if I have to.

I'm not trying to be a taddle-tale but some people are getting out of hand when it comes to roleplaying. They spam the boards with useless roleplays and spend all of their time on the site posting back and forth. I'll bet that some of them haven't even looked in some of the other boards.

Also, I've been wondering if there is a punishment for breaking this rule.

Ah yesh. Someone else has noticed! Aliluyah! I think there should be some sort of punishment or warning. I mean if you are on Balto source you should at least show interest in the Balto sections of the forum!

Me, myself, No I don't visit the Balto Sections much. And I try not to post anywhere much. Because I will get caught up in something and forget about it. I do post in here, the other section, the animal section, and thats pretty much it. But I am very active on the site. True, I may not post comments on everything, but I don't always feel the need. But I do look at things. Its not that I am not a Balto fan, its just that I don't have the time to go into all the sections and remember I posted there. Its kinda like the roleplaying topic that Bagel brought up. You shouldn't post to much to where you forget where you are posting. And my memory is bad enough. XD!

But I supose, something should be done about this. =]

I'm one of those people, I only really post in the Animals, Other, Roleplaying, Video Games, Music, and of course, the Rant Board sections.

I first saw Balto when I was about 8, and haven't seen it since, I've also lost interest in it a few years back, I'm just addicted to coming here. XD

I do check it every-so-often though, and all I see is topics like 'Do you think so-and-so and so-and-so would make a good couple?'

I really don't care about that stuff, I just find it annoying.

No, I'm talking about the people who only post in one section of the forum, like just the roleplaying boards or just the Other board. Posting in a variety of boards is good.

Atleast those two are better then posting in the Forum Games section alone, I've seen numorous people do that..XD

I haven't been in the Balto forums in awhile, but last time it was all about who made good couples, or what breeds the dogs are, or even who hates what char' or something. Its rather annoying to see so many similar topics. I can't keep up.

I agree with Togo.

Rule 13 is more or less a suggestion and not a punishable rule.

It's like being punished for not having pepperoni on your pizza as opposed to having some.

It's really just a matter of choice.

I do know what you mean Kari. I don't like roleplaying, but I've been through the board ONCE and it was a mess. I think the best thing to do for those spammers, is a 24 hour band time.

That's exactly what the rules means. People who only register to roleplay with things that have nothing to do with -at least- Balto or TLK, it shouldn't happen. But I think we should concentrate on the ones who are doing this AND are spamming. The visitors who respect the other rules, even if they post in only one section : they can be tolerated.
Usually, you're not banned because of ONE rule, but because you broke several of them (even if the banned people will always say that they didn't).

Well the best you could do is, delete their accounts.

Yeah, I'm also one that mostly only goes to the sections Chasity mentioned. These forums really are addicting, I don't know how I could stand being inactive on them for so long. But yeah, you need a balance between the other boards, not just the RP board.
