It's about a high school sophomore named Nick who suffers a Grade 3 concussion. If he had another bad concussion, he wouldn't be allowed to play hockey.
Hockey is his life. In the weeks after, he feels himself deteriorate, his girlfriend dumps him, and he feels himself move away from everything he ever knew. All he wants is to be back on the ice.
