I don't know if this is an issue with anyone else. But when I'm chatting with friends over pms on this site, since email notifications are sent each time a pm is sent to me, I soon have a ton of them in my mailbox, taking up space. It's rather annoying to have to go through them and delete them all. Which brings me to this suggestion.

Would it be possible to make the email notifications optional? It would make the amount of time checking my email alot shorter and less work. If it cant happen, I can live with it I guess, but it really does annoy me sometimes.

You can do that.In your profile go down to the yes and no questions.The fourth or third one should say notify me for private message.Click no and then its done.

I would like to precise that when you send PMs by the site and not the forums, the person to receive the message will never get an email notification. (I also find this annoying and useless, so I decided not to do this when I recreated the same PM system on the site)
